Now to forge new memories in the lovely abode.

Bla-ha-ha!💀

I knew those murder details and stashes sounded familiar. :trixieshiftleft:

True crime and ponies sadly don’t intersect much, so finding another fan and pony true crime story is quite the pleasant surprise. Not sure how to feel about how I was thinking the habits and articles described the very killers you must’ve wanted me to think of.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your killer story.

Doing the needed research for a story can produce interesting results, as you certainly noticed. I'm glad you like my story.☠

I like this, fits my ghoulish tastes.
I miss watching Ponynormal Witness.

Ooh, thanks for the comment! As soon as Zachmoviefan gets back from Trotcon, I'm going to pester ask him to do a reading of this story. He's great with Dark pony material.

I was thinking of a deceptively innocent title. Something that might come from a cheap greeting card, for instance. This is what popped up.

This was chilling, on so many levels. What truly disturbs me is there actually are people out there like this monster, and they haven't been caught yet.

Three years ago, I bought my two-story house on a quiet street, with neighbors I came to know and like. About a year ago, I was walking upstairs around ten o'clock at night, when suddenly an intense feeling of dread came over me. I keep one of the window shades drawn open for my cats, as they like to look out it all hours of the night. I stared at the window, and the feeling intensified. I knew I was being watched. I quickly ran into my bedroom, shut and locked my door, and didn't venture out the rest of the night.

The next morning, all was well, but I didn't tell myself I'd imagined it. Someone or something had been watching me.

Thanks for the comments and the fave. Yeah, I live in an increasingly rough neighborhood, which is why I'm trying to find a safer home. I've gotten the heebie-jeebies myself, believe me.
One other fun fact about the BTK killer. If he hadn't started bragging about the Otero murders (along with six other murders) to the police (which got him caught in 2005), we might never had known who stole away so many lives.
Eerie, right?

Decidedly so. What makes people like him worse is there are others who try to copy him. While the rest of us are horrified by their crimes, there's a significant segment of the population that says, "I can top that."

I have a morbid streak, and your stories are definitely in my wheelhouse.

I'm glad I was able to entertain you. Comments like yours (not to mention your watch:pinkiehappy:) feed me like love feeds a changeling. By the way, the Equus Mortis stories might scratch your horror itch as well. Zachmoviefan did a kick-ass job with the readings of "Equus Mortis" and "Dregs", so they might interest you.
