Shadows had a bad run in with certain people who tend to bash Displaced because of the genre rather than the story itself, even the most well written Displaced stories have been bashed in the beginning, only to become popular later on.

Allow them notice their own mistakes, allow them to realize that what they once denied was actually the truth. For example, say you wrote a story five or ten years ago, you go to reread it, you realize how bad it is and thus you'll want to rewrite it.
