Mystic Mind

The greatest storyteller of our time, or just another smuck pony fan on the internet? YOU decide! (Also I do episode analysis sometimes.)

Some adventures just can't be held within festivals. And that is just what Rainbow Dash, Battle Mage and rising star of the Wonderbolts trainees, needs to go a little further afield to get her kicks. But after a spot of bad luck involving skinny dipping and a raging elemental creature, she and her Druid friend, Fluttershy, must track down the cause of the most dangerous dividing magic of all: FASHION!

Inspired by D&D style fan art and the "My Little Mages" fanfiction series (though it isn't directly set in either universe.) Rated T for frequent nudity, moderate fantasy violence and occasional mild sex references.

Just to make sure, be aware that this isn't *strictly* in the Ponyfinder universe, as the RPG rulebook may depict. It's just inspiration~.

I enjoyed it. There were some interesting word choices, but it was a fun story and I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you for posting and sharing!

Good start overall one thing I would say is I don't know if we have a clear idea of what Dash and Shy look like (physique, general appearance and the like ) looking forward to seeing where this one goes!

Some good silly and weird fun in this chapter I got to say. Its over the top but it works. Exactly like Dash seeming to accept her nudity. Is it going fast? Yes. But at the same time so is everything else so it makes sense.

(Also low key expecting the Fashion master to be Rarity or one of her contemporaries)

A good chapter but logic bomb incoming.

So number 1 why the hell did Gilda show up? WHy does she want to assumedly kill them? Why was she faster? Seems like there were some details and background we missed there.

Also is there a reason Dash didn't just strip Gilda and take her clothes? Like at that point she still wanted them and Gilda was jackass and attacked her. So its a mix of payback and practicality.

Otherwise, a fun read looking forward to seeing Fashion 'Chrysallis' Master and what their plan is!

I was going for a very "Hero Yoshihiko" style comedy moment in that Gilda is just a random encounter. It's something I may lampshade in future chapters. She just felt like an appropriate character to fight Dash, and then fail spectacularly.

Also, I didn't think of why Dash didn't take Gilda's clothes, but I figure that she's just too focused on removing herself from the situation, less she get an Arianism trying to work out how Fluttershy did that. But hey! It's comedy, so that means I can just reference it later and say it was a deliberate choice which the characters are aware of! Just like the Plot Hole!

Just call me Wile.E Mysticus, SUPER GENIUS! ;P

Plot holes?

Nah man that is just a Bethesda game feature. ;)
