(You should probably read My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic: Stallion Edition first, in order to understand the characters and the setting. Takes place between Chapters 64 and 65.)
Shining Armor and his friends have done the impossible! They've somehow managed to befriend and reform Discord, the spirit of chaos and disharmony, one of the greatest threats to Equestria!
However, Shining Armor has little time to celebrate, as Princess Celestia gives him an important task. He must become a student of Discord, and learn how the spirit does what he does!
Little does Shining Armor know, that he'll soon learn there's more to Discord than anypony might have guessed. And that it's no fluke that he and his friends were able to befriend the chaos maker.
Why not just add it into the other story as a bonus chapter?

Once again, very good job on the exchanges, emotional content and wrap-up in all the right places. I'll definitely be looking forward to more of your work as soon as time and inspiration will allow.
Anyway, just out of curiosity, are you going to do any bonus stories set in this universe, but based on your choice of the IDW comics arcs? If not, that's cool. I'll still be looking forward to more of your work, but be quite willing to wait as long as it takes.

If you DO decide to include some comic stories (and I know this is a BIG "'if'"), here are some possibilities:
Return of Queen Chrysalis: Altered so that Chrysalis attacks Shiny and Cadance directly during their honeymoon AND Chrysalis inverts the classic villain cliché` by foalnapping the hero rather than the Princess (kind of like the Aladdin TV series episode "Secret of Dagger Rock", except Chrysalis does NOT make the mistake of underestimating Cadance [again]. Instead, she simply throws enough of her minions at Cadance to distract her long enough for Chrysalis to overpower Shiny and make a clean getaway). Cadance ends up going to Shiny's friends (as well as Twilight and HER friends) for back-up when she goes to the rescue. However, this is exactly what Chrysalis is COUNTING ON because Shiny, Cadance and Twilight are all unknowning pawns in an elaborate scheme to make herself the most powerful being in Equestria.
Reflections: Basically an extended version of the comic story to give more detailed backgrounds for the main Mirrorverse characters AND allow Twilight and her friends to have their own heroic moment as they take on criminal counterparts to the Stallion Six while their own Stallion Six and Cadance help out against the Mirrorverse Celestia and Luna. And also makes it VERY clear that the story takes place BEFORE "Prince Shining Armor"
and some others passingly mentioned.
