Based in the universe of Calm Wind's Wonderverse stories:
A man who has spent his whole life around planes gets a chance to fly an experimental plane in front of his friends and future wife, his family are neglectful and do not approve of his career. His task is to fly into extreme conditions to test the aircraft. When a perfect storm becomes too much for the plane, he crashes. One he next wakes up, he finds himself as the foal of Soarin and Rainbow Dash, whom they name Tornado Blitz.
Now Tornado wants to get back anyway he can and hears the tale of a rift that opens in Equestria every so often. But as he spends time with his new family and grows attached to them, what will be his choice?
Stay with his new parents in Equestria, or try to fly into the rift with the slim chance of getting home.
