I gotta say, I always like seeing a FlutterDash proposal, and this one is more unique since Fluttershy was doing the proposing. Still, I do wish you had included the wedding. FlutterDash wedding stories are even rarer than FlutterDash proposals.
I believe Cloudsdale is one word, but other than that, I liked this chapter!

I almost almost included the wedding. I don't think it interested me enough at the time, but looking back I do wish I had written it. Oh well, maybe next time :)
6035315 I agree. There have been far too many stories about the rest of the mane six being so accepting of it, and it's usually because they already knew.
Although, reading this, I can understand why a lot of people really don't like this sort of plot line. While I can see Applejack being the pony that is not so accepting of this type of relationship, in this story, I feel she was a bit too harsh too quickly. I would think that she would try to find ways to deny it, saying things along the lines of, "Ah'm sure y'all are just confused and all. Maybe a visit to the doctor will fix that." Or she just leaves for home without a word, but clearly mad.
Either way, I'd rather have this than to see another story where they take that reveal so lightly. I'm loving it so far.
I've gotta point out a few things here:

This chapter feels exactly how a natural reaction would be like when this type of relationship is revealed. Half the town is fine with it, the other half, not so much. Everyone has differing opinions.
Dang it. I was really liking this fic for its uniqueness and directions, but everything started falling apart after chapter 8...
As much as I'm a fan of the idea of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash having foals together, I'm not sure how I feel about it being a colt. Even with the 'gift' Discord gave her (thank you, by the way for making him a FlutterDash supporter), Rainbow Dash was still technically a mare, so why did her genetic material contain Y chromosomes?

I thought you said this would be your only story? Anyway, I'm currently coming up with a FlutterDash wedding story which, ironically, has issues you presented in this story, albeit tamer, such as Applejack supporting them from the beginning.

First of all: AMAZING. I loved this fic thoroughly. I stayed up until 3 in the morning reading it. I loved the conflict and tension. How people would normally react to a gay couple. Some approving, some not so much. I especially enjoyed the conflict within the mane 6 itself, with AJ being a homophobic bitch, but eventually redeeming herself in the end. I love how this fic covers many of the problems with today's society and the issue of same-sex couples (segregation, hostility, etc.) The romantic parts made me feel all fuzzy inside. There were a few grammar/spelling issues, but those can be overlooked. Amazing work, bruh. /)
This fic was excellent! I enjoyed the ride, each chapter making me want to read the next one. The characters were presented well and the interactions were great! Lots of cute too! Sure it has grammar issues, but there wasn't anything big enough to detract me from the story. Very good!
On another note, I am glad you were able to come to terms with yourself, especially with religion involved. I grew up in a super Christian household and environment, and that was definitely a big hurdle for me when I discovered I was pansexual. But like yourself I prayed on it and did some research, and everything turned out alright. Contest to popular belief it is entirely possible to be Christian and have different sexualities. God's love is infinite and I'm glad you found your way!
Keep up the good writing, whether it is pony or not! And keep keeping your chin up with life, you are good people!

I figured it's Discord, so anything goes. He probably (if we want to take the magic out of it) synthesized a Y chromosome out of her parent's DNA and used that. (Or would the Y chromosome have to come from both parents? I don't think so; sorry, it's been a while since biology class.)
Also I thought it would be cute to have both of them raise a boy, so, that's really why I did it.

its not often I follow someone from just the work of one story, but I think you're one worth following
even if you only ever release the one story.
Minor point... Dash and Fluttershy could only have a filly due to the issue of genetics.
I like stories where I can see parts of the author in their work. and I'm sure I could see parts of you in this. It usually makes the story stronger when the author has such ties to what they write. Although I don't agree with a some of the things in this story, it was engaging and its nice to see a story that covers what happens once they are together. I also would have liked to see some TwiLuna backing up the Flutterdash in the conflict but at I'm happy enough with Twilight and Luna simply getting to have some alone time.
The real feeling conflicts between the ponies was great. I thing AJ really would take it about as hard as she did in this story (although perhaps a bit more denial first before tearing the couple to shreds..?)

I'm glad you like it, and it means a lot to me that you finished it. It was born out of parts of me (especially at the time), and my want to see Flutterdash after they had gotten together. As for Twiluna? I have to admit I don't ship it.

You know I read this story over and over again and think, why can't every Fanfic be this well written?! It shows the ups and downs of Flutterdash and the struggles they faced to be accepted it was a roller coaster of emotions! Oh the feels! There were tons of them. You captured the characters personalities spot on, with Fluttershy putting her happiness before others and Dashes loyalty. Amazing. And it isn't the common road to acceptance! Most fanfics don't tell a story of how they came out or how the other reacted to the news but they have this little fantasy that everyone accepts them as a couple. But you showed the reality that not everyone is always so accepting and to incorporate reality in a fanfic is hard to do but you did it! Again Amazing Work!!! It also shows the good and bad of our society toward same sex relationships. Bravo! I hope you do more fanfics because this was "Awesome". It really is a shame that this story doesn't have over 100 likes already. Truly disappointing for such great work.
