Oh Celestia the cover art is cute! And that's saying something, seeing as I'm reading in monochrome right now.
Can't wait to see it in color.
Anyway, on to the story!
This continues to be super fluffy and I like all the stuff so far in here. Chapter One's short focus on Dash calming down Fluttershy from a nightmare was something I see every once in a while on the site, but it felt natural and nice to see Dash be all cute and supportive to Shy's calmer moments. I mean I can always get behind Dash saying how cool she thinks Flutters is and that was a great shot of cute. Chapter Two though got the stuff really rolling from just how easy the characters feel- both of them lightly teasing each other, Dash carrying Fluttershy around every once in a while, the short inner monologues of Dash truly dealing with her feelings about her marefriend. And while I usually never really like lakes, you continue to somehow make the act of swimming somehow really inviting and comfy to read about. Odd thing to pick up and continue noticing, but sometimes I feel like the smaller moments like that actually really stand out cause it's like I can imagine moments like that right away. Especially feeling random animals brush against me in lakes- always hated that feeling so I really understand how unexpected that might feel.
Also for a little gag, I still like how Tank and Angel get along. Is that a necessary bit? Not really, but if the show can make Gummy a long winded philosopher type, I could see this be part of the show in some way, which makes me always happy to see more fluff like this. It's maybe a bit more risque than the show, but it has that almost an episode tone at points.
Short answer: yeah, don't know how I missed this, but I'm happy I read this now.

And re: Tank & Angel... I felt their bit was a fun way to break from Flutterdash, Flutterdash, Flutterdash for a moment and since Angel usualy has some demands of his 'mom' when she rolls up home, I figured that if RD was sleeping over, Tank would be there too, so oh go... there is a good moment to try and have fun with.
So, one chapter more or two...
That is what I'm wondering... Cause I'm half done with the next one and could either leave it there or have fun with one more picture that gave me ideas for more...

That was really cute and fun. Wasn't expecting the twist of Luna being a stallion, but I was pleasantly surprised at how fun that was to see. Something different than the normal TwiLuna stuff and kind of a nice change of pace. Now I also want some spaghetti after that whole scene- and of course DAsh is the messy eater. The pair of them balance each other out here- Shy being the voice of reason and soft, while Dash is the brash and outgoing one. Nice to see that the relationship brings something out of each that would be much more difficult to bring out in a normal situation- like Shy playfully messing with Dash. That was cute. And Dash continually being annoyed at being small made me chuckle.
Honestly this is still cute as shit.
