The next chapter for Our Daughter is almost ready.
It's been a challenging one to write, but I think it's also quite a strong chapter as I begin to reach moments I've been wanting to cover since I started out. The story has turned out longer and a far bigger emotional trip than I thought it would be when I started out with my initial two short chapters.

A story update is coming in 2-3 days time for When Chaos & Magic Mix (Oh So Well...)

That should put its update one year and a week since I released the first chapter.
It took a long time, but after many months stuck three scenes in, it's now exploded into a crazy, large chapter of fun. It was a fun break from my main 3 stories and a good escape from current events.

Since NZ is under lockdown, I have a bit more time to write. I've decided that since good progress has been made on Crashing Angels, I would try something else.
My one shots, I struggled with, so I went back and found it easier to keep writing more cute fillies for a bit.
I tried Our Daughter and cleaned up the half chapter I have written.

Then today I opened Fall of the Rising and had a blast writing. It's a challenging story, managing so many different characters, plot lines and devious plans. But it's fun.

As per the heading, writing progress has been amazing this month. I wrote over 20k words while in Fiji. Much of that was for my latest one shot, set on an island far away from Equestria. Despite its quiet reception, Midnight Blue - Island Paradise was fun to write and was inspired by Amarynceus's amazing Tuna boat and the beautiful location I was staying at in Fiji for work.
