Starswirl has invented the perfect time travel spell. With it, he can visit anytime, anyplace throughout all of history. Celestia, deciding that his new spell is a terrible idea, tries to prevent him from using it before he does something ridiculous. Unfortunately, the first thing he decides to mess with is all of history. After all, nothing can go wrong when you're fixing all of your forefathers' mistakes.

Oh sweet Celestia, this can't be good. But it is guaranteed to be hilarious! :rainbowlaugh: I can't wait to see what happens next.

Name: Paradoxical
Genre: Adventure
Grammar: 9/10. I didn't spot anything amiss here. The dense back and forth dialogue that had no names and no actions got a little difficult to read, but I think that's a personal failing on my part.
Characterization: 7/10. I feel Starswirl is a bit more mad sciencey in your story than I'd give him credit for, but he's pretty consistent about it. For what he is, he sticks to his guns and he's ready to bend all the rules FOR SCIENCE!
Plot Consistency: 10/10. Nothing that I've read has contradicted itself.
Use of OCs: 9/10. Simple extra character doesn't feel shoehorned in.
Overall: 35/40. Keep up the great work!

I like that this story is written from the perspective of Star Swirl. I haven't seen a lot of fan fictions about him, and it is good to see someone write not only a fan fiction about him, but also something that fleshes out something about his character that was mentioned in the show. Keep on going. I'm enjoying reading this.

6136496 Glad you like it. I'm currently on the second chapter following the currently published ones, I'm just cleaning some stuff up, as I have to pull some more strings together. Also, yeah, Starswirl seems so underutilized. I mean, they mainly use him to solve whatever magical issue in the show, so much so that it can cause timeline issues. Part of what got me to write this, actually.

Oh great fish thing! I call thee! I am lazy and can't think of anything else!

6160376 Warlocks do not like having to do extra work. :pinkiecrazy:

I really like your light-hearted and funny style of writing. I found myself chuckling throughout this first chapter. Great stuff! I look forward to reading the rest of this as time allows.

6244131 Thanks. I like making stories like this that are silly and wacky, and it's nice to know that others find it enjoyable.
