As Discord's statue sits in Canterlot's sculpture garden, his age of chaos forgotten, he cannot do anything but think. But what does he think about? Love? Friendship? The meaning of life? Definitely not. He was lord of chaos, not some optimistic philosopher pony. What is he to think of except mayhem?

Glad to see you guys enjoyed it. Discord intrigued me though, I think he was defeated a bit too easily. I mean, an all powerful god of chaos done in that fast? Plus how easy it was for him to escape? I wish they would bring him back for season 3, and answer some of my questions. But maybe Discord is just a child at heart, and all he wants is to have fun, and as a result he makes mistakes. I don't know. I'm not good at character analysis.
This was quite invigorating to read. You made Discord seem more whimsical than I could ever do. You made him seem in control, even when encased in stone. When reading it, I could have sworn that John De Lancie was reading it instead. Great job!

Thanks, it's great to see that someone enjoyed it. I love getting feedback of any sort, negative or positive. In all honesty, I didn't intend to do any of that. I just tried to emulate what a deity of chaos would imagine when trapped in stone for over a millennium.
