Azazel was one of Satan's generals, the guy that taught men warfare, and I'm pretty sure that he's chained in hell with Satan. This is a demon of darkness, and a guy that probably won't be buddy-buddy with the princess.
Other than all of that, its a pretty good read.

Now...if we were to forget a moment that some Christian canons say that Azazel is a demon in Hell, your theology is fairly good. In fact, the only issue I see is not actually with your fic, but having to do with the canon of Azazel. You see, if we are to accept that God can see into the future, then we must also accept that death had always been a part of the redemption law. Namely, animal sacrifice, before the practice was finished and completed by the death of Jesus. It could then be argued than Mankind was always meant to be violent, if only for the sake of our redemption.
This thought then says that Azazel would not have been cast from Heaven.
Unless he sinned against his conscious, which is a thing.
In which case, God sending him to Equestria seems very much like a just punishment. So yeah, those are my thoughts.

Huh....well....huh...not sure what to make of this to be quite honest. The story was fine, though the angst was pretty heavy, the concept is fine, it's the heavy religious stuff that has caused this moment of what. It's like jerking off in a place of worship, part of you feels so wrong about it but then part of you doesn't care, you know what I mean?

Heh. I know I’ve seen worse. The wangst killed this for me, though the “not despite the fact we don’t need genitalia but because of it my dong automatically adjusts to suit your preferences” schtick was worth a chuckle. This is not even that bad, from a purely technical standpoint at least. Not worth my vote either way really.
Being who I am, I respect religion, but I don't really care. Personally, I enjoyed the story (and, I suppose, the plot) quite much. A little different, and that "we don't need but can still be amazing at sex" kind of made sense to me, actually. Now, don't cite me or anything, I didn't read the bible: Lust is a sin, but Love expressed with Lust (when all partners agree) isn't. And "angel"(s) (not sure about Azazel's original concept) are supposedly the image of "perfection", and since anything mortal needs sex to survive, being capable of "perfection" there too seems reasonable.
Then again, as they say: "To assume makes an Ass out of You and Me."

I've got no argument to this. Yes, I simply just do not like one over the other and there is no reason why apart from personal bias.
It sure would be. But, I suppose, I am a silly old bear.
I don't mean to sound insensitive in some way, but might there have been a warning about how heavily religious the fic is? Now, I like to think of myself as a respectful and understanding person, mind, but this... This just kind of came up and smacked me in the face a bit. It's like walking into a laundromat only to find a bunch of half-naked clowns frolicking on the machinery. Like, where the hell did that come from?
While that's my only complaint, the rest of the fic was pretty good. I honestly don't understand much of the religious references or what not, but it seems well executed enough.
I will smile at this wonderfully created fic and wave goodbye to it as well, knowing that the fic is over, so I must now find another. Good job.
