When I wrote that 4chan post, I was hoping someone would like the idea enough that they would write something about it. But this story completely blew my mind in terms of depth, feels and writing quality. Well done Hand-Made. You have potentially created a new fetish.

Let me get my thoughts down by saying this was well written and an interesting story regardless of how one person can project the outcome based off of the picture. Don't judge a book by its cover

As stated before, you have once again nailed the 2nd-Person point of view and I think its worth noting that you get it down pact with such consistency that we can get into character no matter what the scenario may be. This was a tightly filled romantic tale that the human protagonist had with Rarity and to find out what had happened to love only makes sense why he would go through a serious breakdown transition. From worry/anxiety to sadness and the finally Breakdown/psychopath and the way you wrote it shows the emotional tale of what went down
Now this scenario may not be my Forte, but I was still able to finish finding out how far would he go for his love and I am sure that these elements will be acknowledged by someone who does enjoy the Tags listed^^.

All hail Rufus Rex and the fact that nearly any song from the project could fit this story somehow.
truly a heartfelt reunion. and IMO, she isn't technically a zombie. her heart beats on, and her mind is still somewhat intact. her legs are an extreme case of autophagia. her voice is . . . well. . . i got nothing. but if i am right, there will be a way to save her. but saving her will return her life energy to the void, thus killing her. he will most likely not want to cure her, and she will progressively get worse until whats left of her personality is destroyed by whatever had caused this disease. either way, one of them will unintentionally kill the other in the end. a sad ending to a twisted story

Reminds me a tad of corpse bride but I say this is a nice story, he never stops loving her even for one moment; he is willing to do anything and pay any price to keep her safe even when she is an "undead" of sorts. I still wonder what happened to the others.
