Why the hell does this remind me of a very poorly devised DND plot? I mean, listen to that "evil stallion." He might be evil, but how effectual can he actually be if he can basically come back after hundreds of years in prison and think "Gee, it sure would be great to take over this country! But first I'm going to need a shower, some sunglasses and some sleep! Cleanliness is next to evil-overlordiness after all!"
I'm sorry, I have the feeling I'm not supposed to take this seriously at all, at least I really hope I'm not expected to. The villain is probably just an alicorn OC Celestia banished b/c Gary Stu.
(Rant over, but seriously? Showers and Sunglasses before he takes over the world? How is this guy evil at all?)

Oh, no, definitely do not take this story seriously. This was speedwritten to get done before my hiatus and a lot of it is pure idiocy. I'll be posting the first real chapter tomorrow. But he's uh. You'll probably love to hate him.

4039418 I'd like to lie and say I take nothing you write seriously, but my tear ducts would tend to argue that point. As for loving to hate him...well I just finished Breaking Bad so lay him on me. Going from one character I hate to love to another should be a cinch.
Hmmm, this seems a bit cliched (Dark Magic using, powerful, charismatic, thousand year old alicorn OC), no offense. But ya know what, you're a pretty decent writer so if anyone could write cliched well it'd be you!

Yeah, I'm trying to edit on the run with this one a little, too. I replaced like five uses of "dryly" on the same page today in Chapter One. But after my break I might return to it and edit it more thoroughly.

I can't believe the same guy who wrote a 10 story long epic series; wherein everything we grew to love either died, became a bitch *coughFreyacough*, or suffered massive injury, wrote this. Just, the shift in tone is jarring. I mean you've got Alicorn OC Doofenschmirtz, a hispanic pony who might need to cut sugar out of his diet, and a snarky, sp00ky skeleton. And they're pulling some Pinkie and the Brain shenanigans...

Don't worry, uh. I won't spoil anything but. This one breaks my usual formula in a lot of ways. Even if I admit I do seem to always be particularly mean to her. I don't even know why.
Ok, not sure when this was written but the plot now reminds me of the stick of truth...
Also we know how literally this world takes wishes, why would wishing for nothing destroy everything, it's basically the equivalent of wishing for nothing to change... why not wish to free your parents while you're at it?
I almost feel stupid for asking this, but is Celestia sane at all anymore? Her thoughts are all over the place, first she's going to kill Twilight for her dark magic use, which is BS since she at least gave Antecedes the choice first; then she ends up giving her a choice, but only after what I assume is a near death beating. And then, after she binds Twilight to her she feels guilty. Which I guess is technically a good thing as psycopaths don't feel bad about what they do.
Also what's this talk about her real face and why did she say about herself assuming a new one ages ago? Furthermore, why didn't Luna take a new face, as I assume she didn't due to how Luna felt "betrayed" or something after Celestia did so.

It'll kind of start to make sense in the next chapter, and everything will be laid out in the one after that. Everything'll hopefully fit together pretty well after that. You know. In spite of the erratic craziness.
I am just hating Celestia more and more the further I read. In contrast I'm growing more attached to Moonflower/Moros/Morpheus. He is seeming less and less like the villain in this story, and right now I'm really hoping he beats Celestia.
So is this gonna be one of those stories where the "villain" is the protagonist and the "good guy/hero" is the antagonist?

I'm glad to hear it. Moony was tricky to balance, because on the one hoof, he's kind of a joke character, but on the other, he has a serious side and he's quite powerful. So I hope you continue to like his development as things move forwards and I finish up this more serious part of the plot.

These "origin stories" all lead in to a story I'm hoping to do that'll take place a few years after Glory Be. It won't be part of the Saga, per se, since the trio would still be on their "extended vacation" at this point, but it'll give me a chance to bring back some familiar faces and maybe tackle some of the side-plots I exed out of Glory Be.
