There's a lot that can be said about Octavia Philharmonica and Vinyl Scratch. They came into contact with many ponies as they grew into their fame, ponies whose stories could not be fit into the pages of syncopated rhythms and synchronized thoughts. This will serve as a counterpoint, a collection of stories that relate to the main tale, supplementing and expanding it, but never quite fitting into Vinyl and Octavia's original tale.

Starting off with a chapter about Harpo...
Today is a good day.
I've been pondering about which character I want to know more about, but the only thing I can think of is: "How do ponies play hacky sack?"
A story that will work with suggestions?

Hmmm....what do I want to read about........
Well, given the characters from Syncopation, you could always do something on Quick Quill and Snap Shot. Those two were an interesting pairing.
Or a bit of the history between Fancy Pants and Hoity Toity.
Or Trans Script. I know she wasn't a main character or anything, but seeing a bit of what happened in Syncopation from her perspective could have a lot of feels.
I would say the "thing" with Frederick, but since that'll probably come up in the next story, I'd imagine that it's out of the running. But maybe some other story about Harpo and him? There was quite a bit of implied history there that you could use.
Or Harpo going to parties. He seemed to have an awful lot of stories that Octavia somehow knew about in great detail. Hearing some of those could be fun.
Harpo and Beauty Brass together is a good topic, but as with the issue between him and Frederick, it'll likely be in the next story.......
Lyra and Bon Bon. Everybody has their own version of how the two of them got together, so I wanna hear yours.
Something from the perspective of a changeling. Because reasons. Maybe examining the rather....unique....relationship between Octavia and Harpo and how the two express their love ( completely platonic, naturally) for each other.
....and I could probably come up with more, but that's enough for now. Have fun with those.

Vinyl and the SunBucks café. I don't care about any other part of context, first time she wandered in, how she became such a beloved regular, just a day like any other, don't care, really.
The time Octavia crashed into a chest of drawers and apologized to it, mentioned by Fancy Pants in chapter two.
