The final story in the Misconception Trilogy.
After the disaster on the Friendship Express, the three involved in the incident go their separate ways, and handle it all differently.
Applejack tries to fix her broken bond with Rarity by reliving her fillyhood, Pinkie Pie plays matchmaker for her two pegasi friends while pursuing her own love interest in her long-time crush, and Spike dreams of an alternate reality which he loves so much he cannot bear to wake up.
Three different stories weave together, and the choice will no longer be a Misconception...but it is not yet Clear...it is now Garbled. The gears of Rarity's mind click together, but what choice will come out?

Not a bad start, though I'm still kind of annoyed that there's no mention of blaming Rarity, who is the one holding the most fault in this situation. It'll be interesting seeing how AJ and Rarity patch things up and get together at the end though I hope Spike gets a somewhat happy ending as well.
Why do I have the feeling Garble will be somehow involved?
At last! I have been waiting for this story for so long!
So far, it's already good. I'll be looking out for more.

I know exactly how he feels.
When you're depressed and think that there's no way to fix whatever is wrong, you just want to be alone and miserable for a while so you can get it all out.
His fantasy dream however is very interesting...I have a feeling Princess Luna's going to end up involved with Spike's situation before this story is over.
Can't wait to see what's next for Garbled!

Indeed I am, writers' block has been hitting me rather hard on most of my long-runners. This is not dead; I actually have plenty of ideas for it.
I'm also thinking of a Misconception rewrite sometime in the far future, but that's not exactly as relevant.

Honestly the only real problem with Misconception was the ending. Which I believe I commented on. It could've used more, or at least tied up Rarity's reaction and the reaction of the father to that. Clear, clarified it a little, but could still use more. But other than that it was a pretty good fic.
Other than that the only real problem that pops up from time to time is the use of y'all to address a single pony. Since y'all = you all. But all in all you made a good series and have good characterization. Not much that needs to be changed or altered much. At least in my opinion.
And I'm glad that this isn't dead. I know how bad writers block can be. I wish you the best of luck and I can't wait to see what awesome stuff that you bring up. BTW, have you read Unexpected Confessions? What's happening to Spike made me think of what Rarity went through in that fic where she lost herself in a dreamworld. I'm almost expecting Spike to start abusing Sleep Potions behind Twilight's back to stay in that perfect world until he accidentally OD's and Rares has to save him like Dashie had to do for her in that fic.

The excuse is that the show was written by Canadians who've never been to the south. Seeing how this is the written word, and not a show that can be changed to reflect how to do things properly. But in the written word, it doesn't matter if a person has no idea of the southern dialect, since there are peeps like me to show proper southern dialect In writing.
But yeah, just like the word vomit that's Sandy Squirel in Spongebob, a bunch of Northerners writing Southern Dialect is horrible, but at least AJ is only half as aweful as Sandy Cheeks.

Not the parts of Georgia I visited. But still I admit, much to my chagrin there are people who don't know proper grammar and use it wrong. Snow Birds, transplants, and people who just use it improperly. That still doesn't change the fact that it's wrong.
If you ever get around to the FlutterDash subplot, I'll keep an eye on this.
Wish this would get continued.... :( you wrote most of the trilogy. Might as well finish it!
