Basically, I said to myself, "WOW, I really want to write something," went digging through my old folders, and found an incomplete FiM fic. My thought process was as follows: "Gee, this is really pretty good. Why did I ever drop this? What direction was I even going? ...let's polish it, finish it, and post it, and see what happens."

Well, I just looked at the MLP:FiM Wiki to see what I could find about cows, especially to see if my newly completed contest entry lined up with canon.

The cow's name is Daisy Jo, not Daisy May, and apparently cows have been seen living in a barn, as well as talking to Applejack respectfully. (They've also talked to Pinkie Pie, but I covered that in the story).
