Heartwarming moments with Pinkie Pie.
While you're busy doing your morning routine, you remember having Pinkie promised to Pinkie Pie you would help her bake the goods for tonight's party. Normally it wouldn't be such a problem, however this time there is something bothering you. IT'S MORNING, you've never really been the morning type, late nights were more your style. But you overheard a purple unicorn mentioning that horrible things happen when you break a Pinkie promise.
When you’re done brushing your teeth and taking a shower you walk over to the kitchen to get something to eat. Much to your surprise your fridge is empty.
"Great just so Great. Well luckily I’m helping Pinkie bake, so maybe she has something to eat." you say whilst walking over to the door opening it and start to walk outside, only to be met with a rush of cold wind. You realize you forgot to put on a shirt and pants so you decide to stumble back inside to get dressed. Finally when you're really ready this time you decide to walk out of your home and start walking to your destination: Sugarcube Corner. Upon arrival at the giant candy-filled house you're greeted by one of the closest friends you had. The pink mare herself.
"Good morning Anon, slept well? Thanks for helping me bake the goods for tonight’s party, I was looking forward to this all night, but then I remembered that if I didn't sleep I wouldn't be able to bake so I fell asleep anyway." She says in hardly 3 seconds. You chuckle while you think that rappers back on earth would have nothing on her.
"Good morning Pinkie. Don't worry about it that’s what friends are for, and I was kind of told I can't break a Pinkie promise..." You say grinning and walking over to the Pink earth pony that was holding some kind of cloth in her hoof. She wanted you to wrap it around your body.
"Well then let’s begin." she says and she zooms off at freakin warp speed. You chuckle at the sight.
“This could just be more fun than I thought." you mumble as you walk over to where she was putting the ingredients while still running around in warp speed.
2 hours later.
"And that’s the last of 'em." you happily admire the goods you baked with the help of Pinkie Pie. The stuff she baked looked way better but they are made of the same ingredients as yours so the flavor would most likely be the same. You haven't seen Pinkie in a while after she said she would be right back, that’s very strange assuming before you two started baking she was capable of achieving warp speed whilst dodging all of the furniture in this house. You decide to go check on where she might be. You assume she might be at the front of the store helping some customer so you walk out of the kitchen and start moving towards the front.
"Boo!" she yells in your face as she simply SPAWNS in front of you.
"HOLY CR-." you fall over on your back and Pinkie starts laughing out loud, as if she saw the funniest thing in the world. Truth be told you might have just screamed like a little girl in the process while falling, so you kind of understand why the pink prankster isn't able to catch her breath. She pulls these pranks of frequently but you don't really mind. Payback was probably impossible because she always seems to notice, and randomly spawns all over the place so you decide to just let her be.
"I still need to buy some stuff at the store, seems I've run out of everything." you say standing up once again.
"See you later." you say waving back at your friend that's still lying on the floor. She waves back once she notices that you're no longer on the ground.
On your way to the store you bump into the purple unicorn.
"Hey twilight, I actually wanted to see you." You think she might be able to help you give Pinkie some of her own medicine.
"Hey Anon, tell me what’s bothering you."
"Well you see. Pinkie Pie is pulling of a lot of pranks on me, but I'm not able to think of anything to do to get back at her." you say downed by the facts you just summed up.
“Does Pinkie have any weaknesses?" You ask with a hopeful tone.
"Pinkie is very ticklish, seeing that you have fingers instead of hooves I can only assume you have enhanced tickling skills."
"Twilight you're a genius! If she is really is used to being tickled by hooves. She won’t know what hit her when my mighty hands decide to show themselves off." you say with a big grin glued to your face. You hug twilight real quick and then run off to finish your errands as quick as possible.
"Bye twi." You yell behind you not hearing any response back. The distance you made probably blocked out the noise you say thinking to yourself.
Later that day, after a lot more pranks than usual pulled off by Pinkie on you. It’s finally time for the party. Upon arrival you notice the pink mare standing with her 5 other friends in a corner of the room, you decide to walk over and greet them.
"Hello ladies." you say whilst bowing politely.
"Hi Anon." they say in a strange unison. Except for fluttershy she just whispered something you couldn't understand.
"I’m terribly sorry if Pinkie was of trouble to you today, she's been telling us all day how much pranks she's pulled off on her good friend Anon." The white unicorn explained.
"Oh really now." You say with a lightly annoyed voice. Now Pinkie couldn't control herself anymore and started to burst out in laughter again.
"You like laughing don't you, THE WRATH OF MY FINGERS SHALL FALL UPON YOU!" you say whilst jumping up and falling on top of pinkie and started tickling her stomach. You have never heard someone laugh so hard before, you knew ponies where probably not used to getting tickled by fingers. But you never were able to think they were so sensitive to it. After you were done releasing your barrage Pinkie looks up to you clearly exhausted but very satisfied. Suddenly she clings herself on to you as a monkey.
"You're my best friend Anon." She says while nuzzling deeply into your chest.
"Am I your best friend?" she asks with a tone that tears you apart on the inside.
"Yes Pinkie, yes you are." you say as you also embrace her. You could hear some "awww's" behind you but you didn't really play close attention. After you assume the hug is over you release Pinkie, only to see that she's still clinging on to you.
"Pinkie you can let go now you know."
"Best friends share hugs." she says while she tightens the hug. Okaay... She'll let go eventually, you think to yourself.
However as the party was going to an end, she has still not let go of you not even once. She's still clinging to your chest as if the floor was lava. Hell, you even had to drag her to the punch bowl and to the cakes when she was hungry. Time has flown by and mostly everyone was gone by now and you're alone with Pinkie and Mr. and Ms. Cake.
"Well I think I’ll be heading home." you say to Mr. and Ms. Cake, knowing that the party pony who was clinging to your chest would hear it to. You walk over to the door and stop at the doorstep.
"Okay Pinkie, time to let me go." You say calmly awaiting her to release you.
"No, I’m staying at your house tonight." she says as if it’s the most normal thing in the world.
"What? You can't do that Pinkie."
"Why not? Best friends have sleepovers don't they?"
"Yes bu-"
"Good I’m sleeping at your house tonight." she says with a smile that seems to be getting wider all the time.
"Okay? I guess it’s fine." you say defeated.
On arrival to at your place, you open the door and walk over to the couch. You have to think of a way to make her let go so that you can finally go to bed. Then you remember that she was so sensitive to finger tickling. Does that mean she's also sensitive to finger massages? Might as well try it out you think. You pull a hand through her mane until you feel you've reached her skull. Now you start kneading with both hands. You could feel her grip loosen and see her relax. It’s working. After a few minutes she has almost let you go completely, you start scratching behind her ear and then she finally lets go of her monkey grip. You decide that it’s best to try and massage her to sleep so she wouldn't bother you anymore. So you move down to her shoulders and then to her back as she lays down on her stomach while you go on with the massage. She closes her eyes and you could have sworn you heard light snoring so you slowly stop the massage and tiptoe to the stairs.
Only to hear hoof steps following you after a few of your own steps.
"Pinkie what are you doing?"
"I'm going to sleep with you tonight." she says visibly relaxed from your massage.
"I’m pretty sure friends don't sleep with each other."
"Best friends can sleep next to each other. I don’t see a problem if there are two friends sleeping next to each other." Pinkie says as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. Although you thought it was a bad idea she had a damn good point.
"Okay you win, you can sleep next to me tonight." you're not a fan of this idea but I guess that’s what friends do.
She lays herself on your bed as you slowly step in and put the blankets over yourself and Pinkie. The moment you tossed it around her she scoots close and holds you again.
"Now you have to give me a goodnight kiss and hug me until I fall asleep." she says. Same bed was fine to you but you’re not going to kiss her, you were sure about that.
"Well Pinkie. I’m sure friends don’t kiss each other and most certainly don't fall asleep in each other’s arms." you say, shocked at what she just said.
"It’s just a kiss on the cheek silly, and I can't sleep if you don’t." She batters her eyelashes as you look at her. HOW DOES SHE DO THAT? You weren’t able to say no. So you just decide to get it over with and move your head closer to her cheek. At the last moment she turns her head directly towards you and your kiss lands on her lips.
"Now I'm your marefriend and we're allowed to fall asleep in each other’s arms G'night Anon." She says hugging you firmly.
"You're my what? No you tricked me!!" you say clearly shocked to how she was taking advantage of this.
"You kissed me silly."
"It was supposed to be on the cheek." you say defensively.
"But you couldn't control your feelings and kissed me anyway." she says grinning.
"What?! Nonono."
"You don't love me anymore?" She says with a tone so heartbroken and tears were forming in her eyes. You can't control yourself anymore. You grab her in to a hug.
"Of course I still love you Pinkie."
"See? Now you even confessed it! Goodnight." She closes her eyes peacefully and snuggles against you. What the? She was able to make you let her stay in your bed, make you kiss her, make you say you love her and now you're going to sleep in each other’s arms? You don't know how she did it but you don’t mind.
"Goodnight Pinkie Pie."

I was actually hoping that if I made a Heartwarming story for everypony, no one would ask that...
That Idea takes a little to much work to be pleasant, and I only write if I like writing it myself. ( I probably won't do that)

To be honest this seems like less of a heartwarming moment and more like a guy being tricked into a relationship with a crazy pink pony who is constantly on speed. In all honesty it just seems like he was only doing it to stop her being upset and that's not the way a relationship should go. Don't get me wrong, I like the story it's just that I don't like the idea of the main guy being in a possibly uncomfortable relationship.
