Celestia would do almost anything to ensure the safety of her beloved younger sister, even if it meant giving in to the demands of a group of scoundrels and thieves.

Luna? Luna doesn't worry about her sister's safety. After all, nopony had dared to kidnap the Solar Princess for hundreds of years.

The only thing this latest group needed was a reminder why.

A quick short story that popped into my head while doing research for other works. Fair warning, I'm my own editor so if anything slipped through the cracks, that's why. Enjoy!

Following an unfortunate event, Erik is mysteriously placed in Canterlot with his violin. Unable to speak their language with no money and no home, he is forced to start from the bottom and work his way up.

A pony going by the name of Roast Pear invites Applejack, Apple Bloom, Big Macintosh, and even Sugar Belle to a Pear family gathering for certain members of the Pear family. While the Apple siblings are happy to learn a little more about their extended family, they aren't really happy about how Grand Pear and Granny Smith are excluded from this gathering because of their "crimes" against Bright Mac and (especially) Pear Butter.

The years have been kind to Rarity. A wonderful husband and great friends have softened the reality of time passing. Now in her old age she carries the weight of her limited time, but a chance encounter with an old foe may give her life a new unexpected direction.

Princess Celestia has a vast nation of subjects, hordes of admireers, scores of friends, three fellow princesses, and a vast harem. Out of all of these, there is one pony whose company she seeks when she just needs to be held and hear a reassuring voice.
