Tree Hugger isn't a bad pony to know, even if she isn't exactly your friend. Some ponies are just nice to have around for conversation and recreation, and Tree Hugger's an excellent partner for both of those things — even if she's a little hung up on some more "esoteric" principles.

Rarity doesn't mind the recreation. Or, for that matter, the conversation. But it's always been a little vexing why Tree Hugger would want to do these things with her.

Sometimes, these sorts of questions have enlightening answers.

Fluttershy and Tree Hugger are two close friends who haven't had a chance to hang out since that disastrous night at the Grand Galloping Gala. Finally, when an opportunity arises as Fluttershy visits her home, Tree Hugger is determined to make this the best visit anywhere. And what better way to do so than sharing a batch of freshly baked brownies... with a very 'special' ingredient.

Discord's daughter has returned after a millennium's absence, and her parent couldn't be more thrilled to have her back. At least, they think they are. Meanwhile, the arrival of not one but two ancient deities in Ponyville is raising some questions for Twilight and her friends, and Celestia seems none too eager for a happy reunion.

For a research project, Maud journeys to the mysterious Calming Rock quarry to investigate the soothing properties it contains. While there she runs into a interesting mare by the name of Tree Hugger. Though she was there initally for geology research, she'll end up finding something more.

Discord's upset, as Fluttershy has been spending a considerable amount of time with Treehugger instead of him.

When the draconequus is forced by Fluttershy into promising not to try to send her to another dimension again, Discord figures that the next best thing to solve his little dilemma would be to trick a human hippie from the late nineteen-sixties (A variant of human that Discord finds equally as annoying as Treehugger) into Equestria, all in the hopes of having him 'coincidentally' bump into and befirend the earth pony mare.

Maybe then she'll spend her time with the new creature instead of Fluttershy.
