What happens when Octavia, Vinyl Scratch, Lyra and Bonbon all decide to tackle on the game of Everfree? They have to face the famous Slenderpony, that's what. Chaos and hilariousness ensues.

I don't own the cover image, and I'm actually looking for a better pic. Also, this fic has slight LyraBon and OctaScratch shipping, if anyone's wondering, but it's mostly just comedy between the four mares. The story was inspired by this video and is just a little something I decided to write to get over my writer's block.

Stoic. Calm. Unflappable. And above all, Professional. These are attributes that the pianist Frederic Horseshoepin likes to pride himself on.

But sometimes it's difficult to stay professional. Frederic finds it difficult to maintain a veneer of stoicism when he has to deal with his own feelings. What can he do when he's in love with a mare that he cannot hope to have?

And what of this new foe that is appearing in their dreams? Is it a coincidence, or a viable threat?

Vinyl and Octavia have a tradition, a tradition that they have never let slip. But, this year, things long left unsaid finally find their way to the surface.

This is a sequel to my other story, A Tale of Two Mares. Read that one first.
Anyhow, Vinyl Scratch and her trusty new wife Octavia are living in San Franciscolt, trying to make a decent living, raise a foal (or two), and not drive each other the neighbors crazy.
Some old favourites, and some ponies that are notorious for being awful, will come to make their lives a little easier(?) and some new ponies as well, for better or for worse.

Oh my Celestia, I just made that sound like the most boring story ever. You'll just have to read the first one.

The Changelings have invaded Canterlot, they have brought the entire might of their hive down on the unsuspecting capital. As the best that the city has to offer falls at the invaders' hooves, one mare stands her ground against one of the elite of the Changeling Hive.

Little does she know that her actions will have consequences. Octavia will do more than just defend herself, she will shatter a changeling's identity entirely and will be left with no choice but to help him piece it all back together again.

Octavia loves being the center of attention when it comes to large crowds. Though her day started out innocently enough, she tries to earn the stare of a stallion passing by but quickly finds her efforts being watched by others. One would be surprised to what a simple tootsie pop and an adventurous tongue can do and wanting to give her audience a proper show, she makes it one to remember.

And it's not that she's ever had a problem with Canterlot nightlife; she just has a problem with ponies named Vinyl Scratch.
