The Changelings have invaded Canterlot, they have brought the entire might of their hive down on the unsuspecting capital. As the best that the city has to offer falls at the invaders' hooves, one mare stands her ground against one of the elite of the Changeling Hive.
Little does she know that her actions will have consequences. Octavia will do more than just defend herself, she will shatter a changeling's identity entirely and will be left with no choice but to help him piece it all back together again.

I've been "ponied out" for a while. A part of me wants to finish it, this was one of my favourite brain children back when I started it. The other part of me, just can't write any more MLP. I mean I know that my updates dates are pretty sparatic, seriously, check out my fanfiction.net profile and see the large timeframes between updates.
I've always been better at one-shots, and I feel less like I let people down when they enjoy my stuff. The only reason why I refuse to cancel, is because there is still a good chance I will come back to this.
