This is a sequel to my other story, A Tale of Two Mares. Read that one first.
Anyhow, Vinyl Scratch and her trusty new wife Octavia are living in San Franciscolt, trying to make a decent living, raise a foal (or two), and not drive each other the neighbors crazy.
Some old favourites, and some ponies that are notorious for being awful, will come to make their lives a little easier(?) and some new ponies as well, for better or for worse.
Oh my Celestia, I just made that sound like the most boring story ever. You'll just have to read the first one.

So, First School is Kindergarten, first, second, and third grade, and maybe preschool, but that's not important. (Yet.)
Secondary School is fourth through sixth grade.
Middle School is just like ours, 7th and 8th, maybe 9th.
And HS may or may not be used in this, probably not, but it's 10th through 12th, obviously.
There you go. The reason for this is that I needed Tambourine to be starting at a new school and she's not middle school age. But seriously, the Ponyville schoolhouse has like only young children, and it appears to be a one room schoolhouse, so the other students must be at another site.
Whee. I just made a full evaluation of the Equestrian School System (ESS for future reference) I'm turning into a Twilight.
Ok I was a little worried at first as to how this sequel would work but from the look of things I think that this will be just as enjoyable as its predecessor! The only part I dislike is waiting on new chapters which is why I waited so long to read a tale of two mares, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!
1238339 Yeah... ya kinda missed the fast part. There were times in the summer when I wrote two or three chapters a day, because I was a lifeless brick with nothing better to do.
Now, however, what with this accursed Highschool I am forced to go to, the chapters will only be about once a week (probably.) But I'm bad at that, so it may be sooner.
1238498 It's all good and to be fair my obscene amount of free time doesn't help my dislike of waiting for stories in general. No job + being a college graduate can be so dull at times, but stories, such as yours, do manage to brighten my day. How could they not with cute adorableness such as Tamby being featured along with my favorite ship! Nevertheless best of luck with both your own adventures in high school and writing this story.

Please let this one be a filly as well!! I think the interaction between two sisters would be much more interesting. Also I liked the Grace Note suggestion from earlier in the comments. Really liked the chapter especially the urgency with the 7-month pregnancy overnight.
