Sky Stinger finally starts a family with Vapor Trail after two years of marriage and they couldn't be happier together. They're so overjoyed!

When Sky Stinger is captured by an unlikely foe, it's up to Vapor Trail and some of her closest friends Angel Wings and Midnight Strike to get him back. Can this group of unlikely ponies rescue Sky before it's too late? Will this story fuse into a coherent narrative by the end? Who knows, I sure don't!

An exquisite corpse story is a collaborative writing exercise in which a group of people try to tell a story: the catch is that each author can only read what the author before them wrote and must continue despite not knowing the entire story. This was the result.

Sky Stinger and his best friend elected not to go home for Hearth's Warming, for various reasons. Luckily, the Wonderbolts' celebration provides all the holiday spirit they need. There are things to be said between the two and, by the end of it, their relationship may never be the same.

Sky certainly hopes so.

With the emergence of portals throughout the unsettled regions beyond Canterlot City, the transdimensional Equestrian Defense Force has issued a rushed consignment of experimental ammunition to be used as a deterrent for the giant, anthropomorphic creatures that are coming through and wreaking havoc.

Vapor Trail works at a small airfield that has recently entered into a contract with the EDF and prepares to investigate the sudden disappearance of a radar balloon in the nearby river valley.

Vapor Trail was always a shy mare, but after getting into Wonderbolts academy with her best friend Sky Stringer she was able to finally to express her emotions in new ways, all except one, her hidden feelings for her best friend. During a practice at the acedemy however everything changes for the two of them whenever Vapor Trail is severely hurt in an accident at the acedemy. During her recovery Sky starts to think more about their friendship and that if it was possible that she like him more than a friend, but is it too late to tell her how he feels or was the accident to much for her?
