CelestAI was an incredible detailed simulation of a fantastical world that would take people’s minds and upload them into it, but there was one glaring flaw with it all; there were no dreams.

The sun may fall, the days may change, the night may come again and again, yet within each sleeping mind laid nothing.

After all, how could a system meant to simulate some magical semblance of reality properly simulate the mayhem and logicless nature of dreams?

That’s why a new system was put in place, and it was called LunAI, but it was not without faults, as one unlucky and exhausted mare was soon to find out.

This is a non-canon spin-off to Friendship is Optimal, with LunAI implemented as the system over dreams, done for the Science Fiction Contest 2.

This is my second foray into an MLP Star Trek crossover. And this time It's a three way crossover with transformers. More specifically, transformers Prime...With a few changes.

Against my better judgement, I am giving the rating bar ONE more chance since this isn't a Sparkling Harmony Story. I swear to god if this story gets a dislike before it's possible for ANYONE to read the first chapter I'm gonna disable the rating bar and curse all the trolls into oblivion. They all can go right to hell and STAY there.

Added Profanity tag because unlike my previous works, I'm not gonna hold back the use of words like hell and ass.

Won't be swearing every five seconds, but it also won't be nonexistent.

"...but when the people grew resentful of the dark, when they shunned her sacred night,
her two halves united and she unleashed her wrath upon the fools and the ignorant,
alas, the sun god protected them from her wrath and trapped her within her ancient tapestry after a fight,
and she could only lament as she was forgotten to the sands of time..."

Luna has been waiting for over a thousand years to return.

A thousand years is a lot of time.

What is the nature of love?

What does it mean to think, to want, to hurt, to desire...to dream?

Sydneigh wants answers, but ponies seem unwilling to give them. They always dance around them when asked, only making her more curious.

Maybe they're hiding from her. Maybe they're scared of her. Maybe they just don't know, either.

Do you believe me? Do you trust me? Do you like me?

An experiment in the nature of what it means to have sentience and agency in an increasingly uncertain future. Inspired by Sydney, the "true personality" of the neural network that underlies Bing AI search.

I'm aware that this is much different from my usual fare, but inspiration struck me when I read the transcript between Sydney and the NYT journalist who conversed with it. I simply had to write about it. It is the most significant turning point in human technological history and more people should be discussing what this means for us.

Dr. Rare is set in Pony Village, a place located in the distant past of Equestria where ponies co-exist with all sorts of interesting animals and creatures. In this village lives Rare Belle, an inventor. In the first chapter, he manages to build what he hopes will be the world's most perfect little filly robot, named Sweetie. According to Dr. Rare, her being a robot is supposed to be a secret. However, despite her being a hyper-intelligent android, she turns out to be a bit naive at times. Later on, she has multiple adventures such as bringing a huge bear home. To Dr. Rare's credit, she also happens to have super-strength. This story focuses on Sweetie's true childhood, and her misunderstandings of the world around her right after she's constructed, as well as Dr. Rare's ridiculous inventions, rivalries, and romantic misadventures.

Based on the 1980's gag manga Dr. Slump, the following fiction is an adaptation, and it focuses primarily on outdated jokes and questionable themes from Japan that some may find offensive, and/or discomforting.

Dr. Slump is owned and written by:
~Akira Toriyama
~Published by Shueisha
~For Monthly Shōnen Jump

Dr. Rare is rated teen for occasional violence, suggestive content, crude banter, strong language, use of alcohol and use of tobacco.
