Three words, three little words that the princess of the sun never thought she would hear in this time of peace. One shot.
He had little idea why he even bothered to stay beyond the obvious reasons. Desperation? Loneliness? Resignation? It hardly mattered in the end—anything was better than fending for himself out in the cold, and any meal was preferable to starvation.
An entry for the New Blood Contest.
I am attempting bonuses (#2 #4), judges please give me feedback, I’d greatly appreciate it!
Another shoutout to INeedSleep and Mr. Stargazer for proofreading
On the seventh night of the seventh month, instead of attending a busy festival with their friends, Sunburst and Starlight decide to hide away on the castle's roof to watch the fireworks from a distance and the constellations with a telescope. With the promise of clear skies, the only constellations they are most excited to see are two particular stars named after a peculiar love story.
A little StarBurst fluff loosely based on the Tanabata holiday but with an MLP twist.

Inspired by the video game of the same name, several youtube videos I happened upon, and the prompts of Bean's Writing Group.
Written for both the A Thousand Word Contest and The New Blood Contest
Bonus prompts are 1: "From the beginning, you know the end.." and 2: "Include a bug."

Knock em both out with a single story, hurrah!
Starswirl the Bearded developed a time-travel spell. A pony could use it - but only once, and only be in the past for about a minute.
One chance. One minute. That's all Princess Celestia has to save her sister from the Nightmare.
A special thanks to daOtterGuy for answering when I said "Name me four stars in the Equestrian sky" and unwittingly helping me with this.
