I thought it was, yes.
Truth be told, I tried to tell it from her first-person perspective at first. It didn't work for me, so I shifted to Third and tried to explain it logically from there.
This was -- as you might have guessed -- stemmed from personal experience, and I didn't want to forget and purposefully omit details for the sake of "Logic" when there isn't any logic to be parsed from them most of the time.
It is Raw. It is Emotional.
After that realization, I did something experimental.
I tried shifting from Twilight's usual detective-like, calculating mindset from the third person, into something more vulnerable and weak in the first-person later in the climax -- or "peak" if you will.
(Not sure if I wanna reveal it to those who haven't read it though, as it kind of spoils the effect it will have.)
I thought this worked beautifully in the end, but everything else about this story leaves a lot to be desired, in my humble opinion.

I particularly like Twi trying something so different than her normal. She's worked on it and calculated it and.... didn't get anywhere.
This is one of the best stories I’ve read on this site, and I’ve read hundreds of them. It really speaks to me since I had basically the same experience the first time I did this, which was like three weeks ago at a music festival called electric forest.
