Guys, I don't have enough futons for all of you. There's not even enough space here to house all four hundred of you. Can you, like, share sandwiches or something? I'unno.
I don't even know why there's four hundred of you here. I don't give out free candy. I don't write porn. Or HiEs. Or however the kids get popular these days.
I exist, though. That's a thing.
IN WHICH I HIT ANOTHER MILESTONE
As of one hour ago (as of my starting writing this post), I have officially reached 250 Followers. If I had an easy way to post pix (which I don't as I'm on my ancient laptop rather than at the library), I would find and post that "Party Soft" GIF. But anyway... Thank you so much! Y'all rock. Woo-hoo.
My friend equestrian.sen just posted a blog where he uses category theory (super-abstract math) to describe important ideas of literary device.
Almost nopony follows this friendly genius! Follow him now!
900 followers! It's official. I've finally become too big for my own good.
Firstly: this blog post is mainly an opportunity to ask me a question. Any sort of question. Then I'll try to answer it as sarcastically as possible. I'll also be celebrating this milestone later tonight, so my answers should slowly become more and more blurry and slurred.
So ask away!
Secondly: some more random blather.
Wow, I got's me, 200 hundred followers! Thanks a bunch guys, it really means a lot that y'all like what I produce. Now what to do to celebrate? I already gave the speech about me being grateful and not knowing this day would ever come, I already did a video... I COULD do a face reveal, but I don't believe I'm willing to let you people see how I look just yet... Perhaps another time.
So I decided today to post my Rainbow Dash flying speed findings on Reddit, and in doing so I noticed a really big, stupid mistake I made.
Remember how 28mph sounded really slow?
Well, it turns out I accidentally counted the time per lap as 11 seconds, but looking at the footage again it's more like 4. I have no idea how that happened, but I'm really surprised none of us caught it sooner.
As of this blog, everything up to Lab Horse has now appeared. Where the story goes next is up to you guys.
And also, feel free to pitch in with your own story!
Name of story: Sounds Like Bad Fanfiction.
Massive crossover between every published story I have, in the order of highest to lowest rated.
I'm very glad to say I hit 150 followers today!
The stories I write, I write for me, but I always hope that someone else will like them, maybe relate to them in some way. I write what I do because it brings me joy and makes me happy, but to know others love it too is such a huge bonus. It makes me feel like all of my hard work is worth it. I appreciate that a lot.
A while ago, Fimfic user Oroboro—the one person whose description I had to edit in the Bronycon blogs, since my editors told me that I came off as Too Horny—hosted the third Sunset Shimmer contest in this very website. It was quite an event, and I wasn’t part of the judging panel, because Oroboro told me I came off as Too Horny (and then winked at me). I’m telling you about this because—listen.
The release of Feathered Hearts: Eros is complete, and I generally couldn't be happier with how it went. The Memorial Day launch of five chapters followed by five more at the rate of one per day worked--the story not only featured after an hour in fourth place and stayed on the board for most of the day, but it pulled a slew of new readers onto the main story as well, taking it from 66 likes to knocking on the door of 100 while picking up a whopping 90 new tracks. That alone makes
Hello all my lovely fans out there, how have you been? Hopefully, these hard times we are going through right now are treating you well? I've had some issues, but we can get to that after the announcement. One of my long-time goals on Fimfic has been achieved, a story of mine made it onto the featured list! *Squees*
Meh.
It was probably that guy who liked Mandopony.
No big loss in that case.
Keep being awesome, my fellow minions and acquaintances.
So, according to a couple of things I saw in my feed, today is supposedly "First Follower Appreciation Day," where you thank your first follower for pushing that "Watch" button.
I'd like to give a heartfelt shout-out to UniqueSKD for choosing to follow me way back when I was still fresh to Fimfiction. When I asked him why he followed me, this is what he told me (it can be found about 70 pages back on his userpage):
Do you think Paris would have been safer if everyone carried a gun?
Do you think the mentally ill should carry guns?
Do you think that poodle is going to get off Donald Trump's head anytime soon?
Wait, it's actually his hair? Seriously?
So, I made it. Thanks guys for being supportive. So, I'm making my own practice beat, and as soon as SoundCloud finishes downloading (yes, I'm on a shiny new tablet, thanks dad! ), I'll link it to you guys. In the meantime, ask your friendly neighborhood Martian whatever your heart desires.
Because I have over 800 followers and no idea if I have a consistent demographic beyond my readers being mostly American. Enjoy some straw polls.
Although I've written about this story and why it came into being in the Author's Notes section, I'm going to talk about it a bit here.
