I remember a long time ago, when I was writing the Twilight fic Desire and Deep Water, how I wanted to make Nurse Redheart's diagnosis on hypothermia as feasibly accurate as possible, so I researched it mid-writing. It's not unusual for me to do this sort of thing, apparently, since i did something similar in Tempest's fic with researching fireworks and their gunpowder properties.
Hey, champ, you youngin's...develop time management skills. If you are in your teens or early 20's, work on time management. Make it a goal to keep a schedule, even if it's not a really tight one. Try to keep procrastination to a reasonable minimum. Use your free time, which will become less and more precious as you age, wisely. Your 30-something closing in uncomfortably close to 40 year old self will thank you.
Alright, so as many of you know, this story hasn't been updated since August of 2017. The reason for this is because I was caught up writing one of my other stories, Havoc.
But now I've cancelled it. Does this mean I'm going to finally come back to this story and continue writing it?
No. No it doesn't.
Okay, before I get started, I'll admit, I haven't delivered on my plans I had set up almost two months ago. This was mostly because the stresses of life were getting in the way thus preventing me from working on the Havoc rewrite and the third chapter for I'm a Firefox. This is why I slated Firefox to be updated in late April the latest.
So with that out of the way, let me update you on my progress thus far.
So... it's been a while since my last blog post, which was eight months ago. As you might know, I've been a dead account during that time. I occasionally logged in to see what was being featured, especially in October for obvious reasons. But other than that I was very inactive. So in the new year (and decade), I decided it was time for me to bring light with what's been going on while I've been away.

It's been a busy month, in between the Writeoffs and the new $16 million grant at work and actually getting a new story published for once. I did, however, have some time to deploy my minions on an important brand recognition mission.
As many of you may know, I've been inactive for sometime, only coming onto this site for the occasional check on notifications and what not. During that time, I've been thinking about what to do with my stories-specifically my multi-chaptered ones. After heavy, heavy consideration, I've decided on a few crucial things that will be major news for almost all of you today. Specifically, the status of some stories.

Some words mean the exact same thing, just one is intended as positive while the other is negative.
Like 'complex' vs 'complicated'. The first is praise, the second is criticism.
Or 'simple' vs 'simplistic'. Actually, a lot people get those meanings reversed, so you have to be a mind-reader to figure out which one is intended as positive.
So this is a thing, now.
