If my month so far is an example of the year to come, then 2018 is going to be great.
Admittedly, it started off rather poorly. I wrote less than 2,300 words for the entirety of the first week of January. It looked like my little pledge to myself to hit 1,500 words/day for the month was a pipe dream.
Forgoing my usual habit of writing commentaries for my works, I talk instead in this audio commentary, rambling for an hour about how my ambitious plan for October rose and fell, the eight 1/2 tales I told, the people involved, and why I hate horror.

00:49 - Introduction
Y'all better watch the movie already and prepare yourselves for more CMC & Button Mash related shenanigans 'cause my next story is gonna be OFF THE CHAIN! Get ready for more Love Tap! Some Capper! Some Princess Skystar! Glim-Glam! The GaPT! Spike! The cutest edgehorse we've seen yet! And a very special pony Princess who has to try to keep things from getting out of hoof!
It has been a while, hasn't it? My last story got published on June 2nd and it's more than three months ago now that I had to delay the start of publication of my multi-chapter fic for Tempest Shadow once more.
Hello readers! Welcome back! Though you may notice something a little different in the title today.

I'll admit, I'm a tad bored.
How are you all doing?
With nothing else to add, I'm gonna give you updates on how I'm doing.
First of all, I am doing much better. Particularly from my illness, the only problems are just some coughing and a little bit of... stuff in my throat, but that's about it. And its not happening as much which is really good.
Yeah, you heard that right. This blog is about The Friggin' Lunbra contest. I'm sorry that it ended the way it did, without anything ever getting judged. (I still learned a lot for a potential second contest.) A lot happened to keep things from getting results, including a lot of real life issues taking control of what I was up to and the judges. It's a long time past any point for results, or at least any super official results and prizes. So, I'm super sorry about that.
This year has gone by quickly and I've found myself in a funk for most of it. Things like movies and what not haven't excited me. Writing has been difficult for a number of reasons. I don't consider it a block but it just became a chore to even want to open up a word file and type something. Therefore I started doing other things along the way. I learned to play a very poor version of Smoke on the Water and took pictures of the sun during the eclipse.
"So what's it like being a hack," and its variations is a question I get asked often enough. Sometimes it's not verbalized but it's the way others just kind of shake their heads when you chime in on writing or some other thing in relation to it. Other times it's just finishing dead last (even when they don't tell you that's where you finished but you know it based upon various factors that include not allowing yourself enough time to edit or some such thing). Of course I think they should
I saw it at long last. I watched it in fa feater, an' I observed da whole thing wiv an open mind. So... da first question is obviously first. What did I fink of our most expected and pony-filled adventure free years in da makin'? Youse gonna find out now.
...Look, I promise that word salad makes sense.
I foresaw this incoming for several weeks now. The total view of the prologue to "The Shadow Queen" finally exceeding the total views of my most viewed chapter of "Sky Dancer". I'm not mad about this. It's simply a learning experience. I guess that proves that the numerous new writing strategies I have for my new story is effective which

Cousins I Hate: CosmicMelody2112 (His blog post presents a strange anti-brony attitude, which seems to contradict FIMFiction's policy)
Cousins I Love: I guess that if my real-life cousin, Theresa Sanchez, had a FIMFiction account, she'd qualify right away.

Today, a little scribble. The prologue of Tempest Shadow's multi-chapter fic is well under-way and will be finished soon. It only needs some editing anymore. But today, just a little scribble:
Three Days to Jungle
Three days, people. Not counting today, since it’s halfway gone for most already. Three. Days.
And then Jungle drops.
