I personally like pony more than anthro.

But what about you?

The main reason is uncanny valley. When something looks human but not quite. A perfect example would be a robot trying to mimic being human, it looks unsettling. It's somewhat insulting towards the ponies, you have Twilight Sparkle there a beautiful unicorn and you can't embrace her just because she's not fully in human shape, even though she has all the qualifications to be a sapient-minded species.

So, I've released my newest story and it has an anthro tag, but I haven't thought of how to properly use it. Not going to lie, I was going back and forth whether this story would be normal or anthropomorphic. I'm asking you guys if I get rid of the Anthro tag and edit some the specific parts would you really mind?

I remember this point being an issue someone brought up in one of my clopfics a while ago. Anthro ponies are meant to be something between a human, with skin, and a pony, with fur. But what exactly do you think they have covering their bodies?

For me, I always picture them with skin. Most of the anthro art on Derpibooru that I've seen display the characters with a smooth skin like texture. Where as actual fur would look something similar to furry artwork images you could Google up.

I've decided after some deep thinking and reading on pro-anthro and anti-anthro forms and reading, I'm going to have the Equestria Adventures the sequel to Vandread GA and Vandread GA: The Second Stage be no anthro.

Mostly it is for comedy, but it is an effort to attract a more wider audience as it should also make it easier for describing characters. With that said, Megas WBM Seed on the other hand will have it as can a writer have two areas were one is anthro and the other is not?

I've developed another idea in mind based off the series Monster Musume. Where a boy ends up housing multiple monster girls from a lamia, centaur, harpy, a mermaid, and more. My idea involves Spike as a normal boy who ends up housing anthro ponies ranging form the Mane 6 to even a few of the side characters. It's an idea I have on standby. So I haven't decided yet.
