Sex, Booze, Weed, and Love a 2019 Seattle/EFNW Retrospect (Slightly NSFW) · 5:52pm Jun 2nd, 2019

I am standing upon one of the Doubletree’s balconies, topless. Seattle isn’t normally a warm city, but the coolness of May makes this no better.

Across from me is Cynewulf (Miss Cyne to me). She’s smoking a cigarette, the little wisps of smoke really adding to the taboo of this little moment of depravity.

The wind whooshes by and I feel goosebumps form upon my bitemark ridden upper body. I shiver and Miss Cyne smirks.

The Lion and the Unicorn, what would have been... · 11:56am May 7th, 2017

When I started writing this story, I envisioned it to be the first part of seven stories. Each focusing on one of the main 6 and their own struggles to try and find a way home, the seventh would have been a final showdown using what they had learned and brought back with them against Discord.

Horseshoes, Crabs, Part 2 · 12:54am Jul 30th, 2018

Just got back home from Bronycon. Sorry to say that I didn't get many pics beyond some neat cosplays. I did, however, take copious notes, the better to offer as comprehensive a retrospective as I can.

RCL feature and reflections on "Each Small Step" · 8:58pm Feb 3rd, 2019

In thrilled to announce that “Each Small Step” has been chosen for a Royal Canterlot Library feature! :pinkiehappy: In addition to talking about the story, they also did an interview (my first ever :raritystarry:). It’ll be posted on Fimfiction on Friday, but you can read it right now on their website :ajsmug:

Covering Season 3, for what it's worth. · 3:52pm Dec 22nd, 2015

In general, there’s not as much to say on the individual episodes, simply because a lot of them are situation-based, rather than character or world-based. For shorter stories, that can be enough, but the downside is it doesn’t do much in terms of worldbuilding.

Season 3 was the first season I followed completely as it came out, so it’s the first time I started blogging shortly after episodes came out. It was also the last season I followed as it came out.

Remarks on Season 4 · 8:09am Dec 23rd, 2015

Again, for those who aren't aware: the following was written during the viewing, and usually pausing the videos. It was also written without prior knowledge of Season 5, some spoilers notwithstanding.

Enjoy!

I’m not going to do an episode-by-episode talk on this one, simply for the sake of saving time.

Edit: at the time of writing, I'd missed a few days in my schedule, and come to the realisation that stopping and writing down thoughts really slowed down the viewing process.

Final Iteration · 9:33pm Aug 5th, 2019

And so Bronycon comes to an end. A lot went well, a lot went poorly. All told, this last visit to Baltimare can be summarized in four words:

It went horribly right.

Let me explain this better: Did you have that feeling when one of your favorite companies is not what it used to be or what you used to love? When was the point where everything went down? I'm going to list 4 cases when this happened to me and some of them may surprise you.

Episodes 1 & 2

Well, the opener is creepy as all fuck. There are kids in that town, for one thing. We finally have a villain who has targeted children on screen. More relevant stallions, good too.

2019 in Retrospective · 2:09am January 1st

Here we are, folks. Last day of the year, counting down the hours until the new year is rung in.

2019. A lot has happened for me over the past 12 months, both good and bad. I've gotten to see some really enjoyable movies this year, ranging from Endgame, John Wick Parabellum and King of the Monsters as well as Detective Pikachu, to name just a few. My dad and I also finished our project of watching the Adam West Batman series, which was a lot of fun :pinkiehappy:
