Cold in Gardez’s Lost Cities is a masterpiece of pony literature. Themselves inspired by Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, these are stories which contain no on-screen characters. Instead, they are a description of a place – a dead place, an abandoned place, a city or fortress or tower that once held people, but which now lays in ruin or is otherwise abandoned.
Hello all,
After a little work and a lot of external help (thanks Malefactory) , Arête - Princess Alicorn of Hackers is finally complete as it was intended to be (and had vast amounts of mistakes removed)
I also found some aspects of this episode a bit lacking– the dreams were a bit odd, creative in some aspects but a bit annoying in others. I think if the dreams were more similar to scenarios like in the Nightmare Rarity comic, than I would have enjoyed them more. I liked Pinkie and Rainbow’s dreams but the over-absurdity made it work, especially Rainbow’s. Ponyville’s dream featured much of the same absurdity that PP/RD’s had (but better because the lack of a scenario/character specific
And I will, I swear....but first.
I muthafuckin need these.

Attention, attention all! I - Gabriel/Riel - have slipped my way into the animation world of the Sims franchise! As I learn more I shall inform you all of the details! However, for now I am in the dark in most details of the animation. I am soon to be an internet VOICE ACTOR! Something I wanted to be for so long!
Let's Talk About Dreams and Disasters
As usual, this will pretty much spoil the whole damn story, so go read it before you read this!
The unpublished/upcoming story Fever Dreams is now at 11,077 words and still isn't finished. The release of the first part should probably occur within a week, so pay close attention to your feed, everyone. Since there isn't much else to put about the latest crazy adventure story I'm writing have a video while my horse words continue to maintain an air of mystery.
Yes, I am aware this is a rather random assortment of topics.
Y’all know me, and y’all know that I write a lot, so you’d think I’d be good at doing this, but. . . .
AShadowOfCygnus has recently published a new story:
and I highly recommend it.
I hope you're all ready for a vacation, because your Dream Vacation awaits...
Join Silken Soul back in the realm of sleep and dreams and have a wonderful (all be it an imaginary) vacation. I'm sure the two of you will have a lot of fun together.
And whatever you do, don't forget your sunscreen. Trust me, my body still burns from last weekend.
Welp, as I said I would a few days ago, I've published a new story for you all to see. It isn't that long—less than 3,000 words—so some viewership and input would be much appreciated. And of course, upvotes if you enjoy it.
Be warned, it's a bit on the ridiculous side.
...Okay, very far on the ridiculous side.
It's been one hell of a ride for 2021. Started the year off by pulling my shoulder and having to do Physio, then deal with another kidney stone at the same time I watched my father battle cancer and lose. Finished out the year with damaging my leg leaving me to walk with a cane for a while.
People, not so long ago, I had a weird dream that follows something that I'm open to in future life. To say the least, the dream was unsettling and it hit me hard. I won't go into details, but I will say that I remember crying about it for a while. Yesterday, I sat down and opened up my poetry book again. Here's what I wrote -
Daughter - By Dan J. Ribe
From first glance, I fell into a love trance,
Amber eyes and gentle smile to resemble care,
Last night MLP featured in two different dreams. Like most of my dreams they're in the third person.
The first one was basically a scenario derived from BottleH2O's story BIG Business.
Anyone who's been keeping tabs on my blogging will know full well that there is a particular song by Kate Bush that I associate with S7E10. It just so happens that I practically dreamed the correlation as a case of catching sight of it on TV and chuntering some of the lyrics while in a transfixed state. It could've developed but I was roused from my sleep at the key moment, but in retrospect the scene in question did not fit with the screenshots I've found.
What is the Crystal Empire? (Besides Hasbro's advertisement for "crystal" toys.) It's completely unexplained, messes with the whole "There are three pony tribes, and they founded Equestria" thing that was explained in the Hearth's Warming episode, and it's in a geographically strange location.
It just happened. Here’s how it went. This was all happening about half an hour after I fell asleep. Some weird dream half-awoke me. I opened my eyes a little (or maybe I was dreaming it, I don’t know) and I saw some faces floating around the bed. Some of them were coming closer. It felt non-boring, and I like having monsters in my bed, so I closed my eyes and let myself go deeper.
