For years, Sunset Shimmer has happily held her place at Celestia's side. She was her prized student, her number one prodigy. In return, Celestia was Sunset's world, her passion and drive. However, with time and age come change, and Sunset cannot take it any more.

She doesn't understand why Celestia won't look at her any more, why she is so enthralled by the talent and simple nature of her newest discovery. All she knows is that as much as she may aspire and hope, she'll never again be the object of Celestia's interest.

Sunset Shimmer intends to leave, and she has no plans of returning.

Written for Oroboro's Sunset Shipping Contest: Changing Seasons

Special thanks to Ceffyl Dwr for pre-reading as well as helping me to iron out the creases in my original idea.

Sunburst has a new, unofficial title. He doesn't like it one bit.

"I've thrown some pretty super parties in my time, but this one must be off the charts, cause two of my besties are finally trying to hook up! Wait, no, four of them are! Oh my gosh, they're all trying to hook up! ...Maybe this isn't the best party ever after all."

A fun and entertaining party at the Castle of Friendship takes a turn for the awkward (and strange). Rushed, predictable, and very forward romance ensues.

Did you know that yesterday was my birthday? You probably didn’t hear about it, but that’s okay I guess. Twenty-five is just a number, and I didn’t have anypony to celebrate it with anyway. I wish Tavi could have come with me to Manehattan, though. She’s off in Trottingham this weekend, so we basically headed in opposite directions.

You know what? This whole thing stinks.

My submission for the Monthly Contest Club.

You'd think that being trapped in stone would mean that, if nothing else, I could get some peace and quiet. Unfortunately, it seems that Celestia has other ideas.

She has appointed these ponies... these 'Keepers', as she calls them, to keep me entertained during my incarceration.

Honestly? I'd prefer the boredom.

An election looms, and Rainbow only has three hours to put her ballot paper in the box. Will she get there in time? Not if the rest of Equestria have anything to say about it.

(Please remember to vote today!)

There are ducks in Twilight Sparkle's basement, and she is sure that they are evil ducks.

Yes, this story is bad and I should feel bad.
But I don't.

Rainbow Dash has inevitably been seeing more of Zephyr Breeze since he started working for a company that offers freelance hair and makeup services for performers across Equestria. That company has recently entered a six month trial contract with Wonderbolt HQ.

Since he started working with the Wonderbolts, Zephyr has been hitting on everyone. Well, everyone except Rainbow, at least. To make matters worse, no one seems to be fazed by his flirtatious behaviour, even Soarin apparently doesn't mind his advances.

Rainbow is extremely agitated by this, and she cannot for the life of her explain why.

A new organisation has emerged over the last few months: one that was originally covert, but has recently begun to offer its services to all of Equestria.

In the mind of a certain pegasus, the reformation of Nightmare Moon sparked the idea of a better alternative to imprisonment , and her work on reintegrating a certain Spirit of Chaos into society pushed her to move forwards with it. It also gave her the tools to accomplish her goal.

Now, months on, that idea has flourished. The organisation has had so much success, in fact, that Celestia herself has passed a new legislation. This will allow the group of reformed, rehabilitated, and rectified creatures running the show to expand their roster, taking on members of the public, whether they be volunteers, or have managed earn their place through veritable villainy.

Celestia is just glad that she can unload some of those pesky miscreants somewhere else for a change.
