I attempt to entertain with my amateur stories. I also think I sort of know what makes a story good and try to help others if I can.

Spike is growing up, a little bit at a time. It has its upsides. He can carry Rarity's luggage more easily, he gets to have a bigger bed, he doesn't fall asleep all the time, and, hey, wings are pretty cool, too!

Unfortunately, part of growing up is outgrowing things you used to take for granted. Alicorn Princess or not, Twilight's still a pony, and ponies weren't built with carrying adolescent dragons in mind.

Something random that popped into my head while rewatching some of this season's episodes. It could be read as something of a tie in to my previous story, "Seven Hour Bubblebath", but it can be read as a standalone story as well.

This story is a sequel to Time Goes On

After reuniting with her best friend, Sunset Shimmer has decided to do the one thing that will ensure Twilight will never forget her again: move in with her.

Now it's a simple matter of reconnecting with the mare who stole her heart, learning the ropes of her new home, and continuing her study of magical artifacts... And, perhaps, making new friends as well. All while dealing with all the surprising perils that seem endemic to Ponyville. But none of that could possibly be a problem for a pony as great as Sunset Shimmer, right?

It's going to be a long year.

Princess Celestia has finally decided to introduce her two prized pupils to each other, hoping that together they'll finally start to appreciate the beauty and magic of friendship. Sunset may be proud and brash, and Twilight might be obsessive and oblivious at times, but surely they'll get along fine, right?

They'll go above and beyond that in time, but the road they'll take to get there is a rocky one.

When Twilight Sparkle was just a kid, her best friend was a girl named Sunset Shimmer. Though their friendship had a bit of a rocky start, they quickly became inseparable, no matter how much everyone thought of them as ‘weird’. They were there for each other.

Were.

Years after the tragic accident that tore them apart, Twilight is determined to move on from her loss, and she sets off on an independent research project to investigate the strange happenings at Canterlot High. Little does she know that she will soon come face to face with what appears to be a literal ghost from her past.

Everypony enjoys myths and ponytales, even if they know such things aren't real. Alicorns fighting against a spirit of chaos? An ancient princess trapped in a library under a tree, waiting to be found? Quite enchanting and fantastic tales yes, but nonetheless as fictional as Daring Do and other such stories. At least, that's what Rarity used to think.

She doesn't anymore.

Just another glorious day in Ponyville, till the nanite infection is activated. Now it's up to Rarity and an infected Twilight to save the world. Twilight didn't choose everlasting life as an Alicorn Princess. She wouldn't live an everlasting life either, but because of something odd that happens once the mystery box from the Tree of Harmony opens. She ends up living a much longer life than she thought she would. She wasn't really too upset about this, but she didn't fully appreciate what being an Alicorn Princess/goddess meant at the time.

Oh well... why fight the inevitable...? She does end up going into the 'Everlasting Adventure' in the end, but makes some new friends on the way. She is also surprised when the Reaper comes for her, and turns out to be a rather likable bony fellow. Also this boat man seems to be a jovial sort as well.

... maybe the afterlife isn't so bad after all. :)

MLP X Discworld!

I feel I must say this is merely a light crossover with Discworld. I included some other elements that I feel would fit in with the Dsicworld zaniness of my own design. I also apologize if my characterization of Death isn't spot on. I haven't read all 30 some odd books of the series.

(This is my first one-shot! 0_o and completed story as a result.)

(( it may be 'cliche' but this was some idea I came up with that was half influenced by alcohol... enjoy everypony!))
