Winter is in full swing, and Hearth's Warming has come to Equestria again; a time where ponies kick back and spend time to catch up with their families. For Rainbow Dash, it's no different.

But just how does one explain to your parents that you're in a relationship with one of the mares that helped kidnap you?

There can be no higher honor for a soldier in Equestria's service than to become one of the six Holy Knights, and it's Applejack's dream to achieve that honor. Just as her brother has, and her father before her did, and his father before him, and so on, since the very day the Knights were founded.

And on her very first day at the military academy, she gets into a fist fight with the class troublemaker, and it's all downhill from there.

Everything is going perfectly for Twilight. She's been crowned Equestria's newest princess. She has six very close friends. She has her own castle, and a library filled with untold volumes of books. She even has a special somepony, and things are going well between them.

Rainbow couldn't ask for more. She's the best flier in Equestria. She's a national heroine. She's achieved her dream of being a Wonderbolt. She couldn't be happier with Twilight.

And then one mistake...

When Rainbow Dash suffers a knee injury during a soccer match, Twilight Sparkle volunteers to help her recover after surgery. Before they know it, romantic feelings begin to blossom between the athlete and the nerd

Twilight Sparkle, the new kid with out standing grades, is pretty lovable at Canterlot High. Her new friends make things a lot easier for her, especially since they're really shy and over dramatic. And as one of the prettiest girls in school, guys are drooling over her. Scary enough for her, the baddest rainbow haired chick in the school won't get away from her. Enticing enough for Rarity, she has her own unwillingly protective guard dog cowgirl named Applejack. Sadly enough for Rarity, what could she do when that guard dog, steals her heart with a few words?

One of the positive things about being enlisted in the Solar Guard is all the mares Rainbow Dash could possibly chase after.

A negative? The one she's really after is in the Lunar Guard, and she's pretty… batty.

Rainbow Dash and Soarin have been happily dating for a while now but both are starting to wonder should take their relationship to the next level? The problem arrives when they realize that their version of the next step are completely diffrent. Will Rainbow a Dash get the family she wants? Will Soarin's queen approve? And most of all how will Princess Celestia react to finding out that one of her elements of harmony wielders is in fact, a changeling? Will Rainbow and Soarin's true love be the thing that causes war and panic? And most importantly, will this be the downfall of Equestria?! Or will it be the birth of a new beginning between races?

Applejack and Rainbow Dash are Canterlot High's most athletic, most competitive, and most stubborn students.
They're also the most oblivious.
Rainbow Dash is head-over-heels in love with her best friend, Applejack. Applejack has one hell of a crush on Rainbow Dash. And, naturally, neither one of them knows how the other feels.
Who knew saying 'I love you' could be so hard?
But they'll manage it in the end. And when they do, they'll go on to tackle the rest of the school year hand-in-hand, side by side. They'll laugh and cry; they'll be hurt and be healed; they'll live their life to the fullest with their best friends and encounter all sorts of surprises. They won't realize it, but their experiences - their love, their kisses, even their stupid competitions - will be documented by Pinkie Pie with her trusty camera, trying to immortalize the slow and sweet and sometimes stormy romance of her best friends.
And when she shows them her album at the end of the year, when they prepare to step out into the big wide world, Applejack and Rainbow will realize that, well...
It truly was their year.

With all the responsibilities of being a Princess, Twilight barely has time to be a mother. Normally she makes due, thanks to her excellent Scheduling prowess. But with the weight of the world on her back(in paperwork) she has no choice but to trust Rainbow to watch the kids for one.entire.day.
