Most pegasi figure out flying easily enough. Heck, most of them figure out how to do it before they even get their cutie marks.

But not me. I couldn’t do it, no matter how hard I tried. I couldn’t even hover. Not for more than a few seconds, anyway. And not even Rainbow Dash, the greatest flier in Equestria, could seem to help me. We tried everything, and I failed every time. Day after day, I tried – and day after day, I failed, until finally I was ready to just give up. I’d never be able to do it. Nopony would ever be able to help me to fly...

...until one day, somepony did.

Magic Fall. A phrase that conjures in the minds of ponies, a time of great strife and death, when magic abandoned pony-kind and left them to fend for themselves in a hostile world. Luna now sits alone on the throne as she has for the last one thousand years and watches as technology slowly but surely fills the gap that was left.

The Worlds Fair is in full swing in Canterlot and with the launch of the first ever Celestia Class airship, 'The Harmony', many predict a new era of peace is to come. Twilight Sparkle comes across a small, battered diary detailing a new form of transportation. While the research is sloppy and the notes incomplete, Twilight takes it upon herself to see that the ancient project is completed.

Of course, nopony said it would be easy.

For the second time Equestria has been torn apart by war between the New Lunar Republic and Solar Empire. Only this time both sides have to contend with another entity: the Legion of Discord, who started an invasion of both side's territories.
One squadron of the New Lunar Republic Air Force; the 13th Tactical Fighter or "Lunar" squadron, finds itself involved in many of the game changing events of the war. Will Lunar squadron help end the war, or will Discord crush both sides and plunge Equestria, and the rest of the world into chaos?

For as long as Rainbow Dash could remember, her life was simple, straightforward, and planned out with one goal in mind: become the best flyer in all of Equestria. Simple. But when she unwittingly comes across a tool that allows her to relive the memories of her ancestors, that simplicity is challenged when she discovers dark secrets hidden in her family's past as well as Equestria's history that not only challenge her perceptions of reality, but threatens to alter her very psyche.

As she's thrust into the remnants of a centuries-long war, as she questions the morals of those around her, as she battles to separate reality from fantasy, will Rainbow be able to hold on to her own beliefs or will she embrace her family's blood-stained traditions and finish what they started?

This story is a sequel to Ace Combat: The Equestrian War

Two years after the war with the griffins, peace and harmony once again returned to Equestria. But, from the shadows of the past, a new enemy emerges...

Descendants of ponies, who were long ago exiled from Equestria by Princess Celestia for their dangerous behaviour and experiments, seek to return to the land they used to call home. Over the years, their leader had amassed a great army and gained powerful allies. She decides to exact revenge on the one who exiled her... Princess Celestia realizes the threat and enacts a plan she started shortly after the end of The Equestrian War.

When the conflict erupts and Equestria is attacked by initially unknown enemy, the Mirage squadron is once again sent to the skies, with Rainbow Dash leading them through countless perils. But will the Angels of Equestria be strong enough to stop another invasion of enemy forces? Or will they fail? Only time will tell...

This is a second story of the mini-series "Ace Combat: Equestria Chronicles". The story takes place during the third season of the show. However, I decided to exclude episodes after "Spike At Your Service" (since it is not specified when exactly they happen), mostly to avoid any additional drama regarding the Twilicorn or Discord interfering.

Like Ace Combat: The Equestrian War, this is not a direct adaptation of any Ace Combat game, but it will contain many references to the series, as well as to MLP: FiM itself. In particular, it contains elements and references from the following games:

When Pinkie told the others about Rainbow's cookie prank on the whole town, they all decided to fight fire with fire by having the entire town prank her.

It was simple in concept, everypony would act like there was something in the cookies that made them into cookie craving zombies, they'd corner Rainbow in a confined space, and then they'd reveal themselves after scaring her silly, teaching her not to prank so much.

In hindsight, they probably should have known better than to overstimulate the adventurous and action-packed imagination of their pegasus daredevil.

An alternate ending to 28 Pranks Later.

The Gryphon Kingdom to the north has fallen to the corruption of a tyrannical Queen; forcing her nation into a war against Equestria. As the battle looks in their favor, Lightning spark--Leader of the 1st Pegasus Division--finds himself fighting not only gryphon's, but his own mind as he struggles with the loss of a close friend. Little does he know that the new recruit, Rainbow Dash, may be Equestria's only hope in stopping the war.

Most characters on the list, will come in slowly as the story goes on. Also, the (very sparse) romance doesn't pick up until around chapter 3.

The Griffin Kingdom prepares an invasion on Equestria, and when the Wonderbolts are incapacitated by two griffin aces, a group of pegasus ponies, assembled by Firefly, becomes the land's main aerial defense force, supporting each other in the hardest of times. It's a story of revenge, friendship, sadness, struggles and sacrifices, a war which will change the lives of many a pony and griffon...
