As Twilight attempts to get Starlight Glimmer to see the error of her ways, Spike can't help but interject. If Starlight had a portal to take her to any place or any time, why fixate on one single event when she could accomplish so much more?

Two thousand years ago, a powerful, malignant being emerged within the fledgling land of Equestria, threatening to completely destroy it and its neighbors. Thwarted only through a combined effort of the Royal Sisters and their contemporaries in other lands, the World Eaters faded into legend, and then from memory entirely.

Now the World Eaters begin to stir once more, and the fate of Equestria--even that of the very world--rests on one purple unicorn's ability to contain and harness the power of their master.

For my second offering, I humbly present an attempted crossover--or rather, fusion--between MLP:FiM and, of all unlikely things, Soul Nomad & the World Eaters. Taking place after the end of the second season of the former, it's my intention to use elements of the plot of the latter, but for those familiar with the plot of Soul Nomad, apart from approximating a few key scenes I am currently aiming to give the overall plot its own direction rather than scene-for-scene novelizing Soul Nomad with ponies.

Rated for Gig's dirty mouth, mostly. No F-bombs shall be dropped, but there shall be a few S-bombs. Do those merit a 'Mature' instead? I shall correct if so!

On a related note, does Gig count as a human? Tagged as such because that IS technically his shape. Tagged as AU to save headaches and debates on potentially altered history.

A thousand years ago, a man by the name of Kuja appeared in Equestria. He quickly befriended the princesses, becoming known as the Silver Mage. Over time however, it become quite clear that he was very ill. No matter how hard they tried, they could not cure him, and rather than let him die, they placed him in a deep sleep, in hopes that one day, they would be able to heal him. This is the story of his life after his awakening, a thousand years later.

Twilight has aspired to become a surgeon for most of her life. However, when her phobias threaten to put a stop to her studies, Twilight's mentor Sirona is forced to take matters into her own hooves.

It would be an easy enough task, if only Sirona weren't secretly infatuated with Twilight.

When her brother, Peter, develops an online game based around his strange obsession with equines, Sonya is thrust into a quest that, unfortunately, only she can fulfill. What started as a harmless game, quickly turns into a life-threatening nightmare. The only chance she has at stopping this horror is to confront the very man that started it; Peter.

So, four days ago, Tirek brought Equestria to its knees—with my help—only to turn on me—which I really should have seen coming, but that's hindsight for you. And then some stuff happened involving—of course—rainbows, ugh, and now I'm here. Helping pay off my debt to the nation by fixing things which may or may not have been broken by me in the first place, like a good draconequus should.

Problem is, doctor, I've been finding myself preoccupied as of late, and I really just can't see why...

Twilight looked over to her dear mentor, Princess Celestia, and found she had once again fallen asleep mid-lesson. Her intense debate on awakening the princess was cut short when the decision was taken out of her hooves.

“Huh? Oh. Twilight, I am so sorry for falling asleep again. I think we need to reschedule this for tomorrow morning.”

Twilight nodded. After all, Princess Celestia was obviously overworked. If only there was something she could do to help.

Everypony remembers Tirek, the infamous, magic-stealing monster that walked Equestria all those years ago. However, few remember his brother, or the sacrifice he made to secure the future of ponykind.

Spike on the other hand remembers Scorpan quite well. Far more than he should, in fact. When memories from the distant past begin to emerge, memories of Scorpan and a dragon that looks uncannily similar to Spike, he has many questions, and very few answers.

Why does Spike have memories of a time eons past, and more importantly, why does the name ‘Scorpan’ sound so familiar?
