Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor were just minding their own business on the edge of the Everfree Forest.

But suddenly, a man they've never seen before steps out of the woods. His request? For one of them to shoot him in the face.

Where did he come from? Who is he? Why does he want to be shot in the face?

Who cares? Just shoot him in the face.

Applejack has been asked by a special little dragon to help conquer his fears and ask the mare of his dreams on a date.

Will she succeed in helping a friend in need or will she find herself seeing the young drake as more than a friend?

When the burdern of rejection becomes too much to bear, Spike casts his life in Ponyville aside for a clean slate. A re-imagination of his own character at the expense of the feelings of his friends. Days, weeks, months, and even years go by as Rarity lives in the regret of her mistake when she realizes the worst thing possible— she loves him, yet she pushed him away because of her shallowness. What happens when the wayward dragon returns home?

The Didact was stopped and the Composer destroyed, but at what cost. Master Chief (Chief or John) would have given his own life for the human race, but in an act of valor Cortana sacrificed her last remnants to save John. Now with no AI. and no friend with him, he floats towards an unknown planet which looks like paradise. Soon he learn that friendship is already following him through fate, but will he accept?

When a bolt of lightning turns a casual trot through the Everfree Forest into a disaster, you are taken in by none other than Ponyville's kindest mare: Fluttershy. But is your mutual relationship just that of a patient-caregiver, or is it actually something more...?

After the conclusion of "My Little Dashie", life goes on for the narrator and Dashie. They do indeed remember each other and all the time they shared, but how can Dashie let her daddy know this crucial fact? Long after Dashie has left his life, he decides to catch up on all the episodes he missed by cutting off when he adopted Dashie. As he watches, suspicion of her lasting memories grows on his part, while she attempts to find a way to communicate her situation to him. Pasts are revealed, shedding significant light on the circumstances of Dashie's adoption, and Dashie tries to throw in an on-screen hint that only he will grasp the true meaning of.

So, this is LONG overdue. I wrote this back in October, inspired both by the original story and by a picture by CSImadmax over on deviantART. However, I did not have a FIMFiction account at the time and merely posted the story on my deviantArt account as a link to the Google Doc that housed it (link if you don't believe me: http://amimizunofan22.deviantart.com/art/My-Little-Dashie-A-Moment-265671483). Nonetheless, I figured that posting it here would help spread it a bit more. So, without further ado, here is My Little Dashie: A Moment. You are a Pegasus that is going through possibly the worst day anypony could ever have, and it is punctuated by your death. Unbeknownst to you, you will find kindness and beauty in the one mare who could pull you back from the end of all things. So, without even a cutie mark on your flank, you move forward into the unknown to discover who you are and what it is to be a stallion with literally nothing from your past to help you.
