The Friendship Games are over, and the new Twilight has officially joined the group. Sunset and her friends have helped to make Twilight's transition to CHS smoother: Inviting her to band practices, arranging for her to have a lab just like at her old school, and teaching her about the foreign concept of friendship.

Lately, Twilight has been asking Sunset for assistance with some of her experiments. Sunset is more than happy to oblige her new friend, but starts to notice Twilight paying more attention to her than anyone else in their circle.

In order to make sure that doesn't happen, Sunset returns to Equestria to help find a way to stop it. Will she and Twilight succeed, or will they have to say goodbye to their friends at Canterlot High forever? Will they make new friends along the way? All they know for sure is that they have to try.
