Fluttershy often dreams of being able to cuddle up with the pony who means more to her than a friend. When said crush comes barging through the window one very early morning, is her wish about to come true? FlutterDash.

While this is not my first fanfic this is my first time uploading one to this site and so, if there are any errors regarding the structure then it is more than likely due to my unfamiliarity with this site and its uploading system. Although this is my first Friendship is Magic fanfic I welcome any and all criticism, which will make me just as happy to receive as it would praise.

The method of writing this short story involves connecting various fan arts and creating a narrative which involves each one of them. As such I wish to credit the artworks of DiegoTan's 'Rainbow Dash n Fluttershy hug', Strebiskunk's 'Bedshy' (which also serves as the cover image), Miokomata's 'Gotcha' and 'Best night ever', Haileyguilford's 'Morning', Juicy Cactus's 'Your real Christmas present', and Fajeh's 'Flutterdash' as sources of inspiration for this fanfic.

It all begins with a night spent above the clouds�
Overnight, everything changes for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash as they at last begin to realise that they�ve always been a little more than just friends. As they unravel their newfound feelings, discovering more about each other and themselves, they can't help but wonder if they both feel the same way � and after Rainbow Dash makes a mistake that could take a lifetime to mend, she fears that she may lose her closest friend forever.

After about 6 years of hiatus, I have revised and rewritten the whole story so far with the intent of continuing and finishing it. Re-release started in early 2019 with a revised chapter 1. 2020 marks a brand new chapter 9 and the continuation of the tale of two cute social outcasts.

I don't understand it, I don't know what to do. Anytime I try to make sense of this, I can never find an answer. All I know for sure is that I love Fluttershy more than anything.

First person with Rainbow Dash as she ponders elements of her past and present within her dilemma of trying to understand why she loves Fluttershy.

The little moments before and after Fluttershy was made up to be a clone of Rainbow Dash during "Magic Duel". With their futures at stake, Fluttershy knows that she herself has to try hard as well to pull off their trick in order for it to work. The little boosts that come in the form of Rainbow's love and confidence in her are usually part of what she needs.

Rainbow Dash is thrilled to have Twilight, now an alicorn, as a new flying buddy. However, she comes to realize that it all feels exactly like what happened in the past. Namely, similar events that had occurred with Gilda, something she regrets. Worried she'll end up neglecting Fluttershy again, she looks to Twilight for help.
