As per the heading, writing progress has been amazing this month. I wrote over 20k words while in Fiji. Much of that was for my latest one shot, set on an island far away from Equestria. Despite its quiet reception, Midnight Blue - Island Paradise was fun to write and was inspired by Amarynceus's amazing Tuna boat and the beautiful location I was staying at in Fiji for work. I feel as though Crashing Angels is coming along well. It's into new territories and even when I set off to try and write other stories (such as finishing off my TwiLuna dance fic) I end up writing CA.
What feedback I am receiving makes me more certain that the direction is good, so on I shall continue with the story.

The next chapter should be ready within the next few days. I'm thinking thursday (NZ time) just before I drive my EV down to my brother's house in Hamilton.

First chapter update of the year goes to Crashing Angels. The writing of it flowed well thanks to getting in two very good writing days so far.
Lots of good, sweet cuteness in chapter 9 and not all of it is between our main two fillies.

I think it's crazy that I started this back when I was Flutterdash7. This is nearly 8 years of carrying this story with me so far...
Hopefully it will take nothing remotly close to that duration of time to get it finished now.

It feels weird that its already about halfway through January. Work is kinda busy with plenty of editing that needs doing. I'm also working on stepping up my music practice in an attempt at playing most of the dance tunes on my accordion for the first Scottish country dance evening of the year (in August) here in Auckland. Even though its well over a month way, going from playing about 5-6 pieces (depending on what is chosen for the night) to trying to play most of the 24 is a massive jump.

Coming and going on my rewrite which I really want to get finished at some point soonish, its amazing just how many scenes are getting moved around or edited in major ways.
While the story is still feeling like Crashing Angels, (hopefully a better version) I think the new plot structure and re-written scenes are stronger.

It just continues to be daunting looking at major tweaks to another 80k words before Im likely to hit chapter 11 and at last see a new chapter notification.

Since deciding late last year I would continue Crashing Angels I'm in the middle of re-writes and tweaks. They were put on hold for two months while I put a massive amount of work into my story 'Fall of the Rising' but this week I took another shot at continuing with updating this classic. I seem to be finding some sort of momentum right now and I'm getting a clearer idea about what I want to do with this cute tale. I've re-posted the first four chapters and I'm onto the fifth. I think the next chapter update here will b crashing angels. Because I had a magnificent idea for it today, for about 5-6 chapters time and it involves two awesome young pegasi and dates. It's been the first in a Long time that I've written anything for the story. today I managed to smash out a whole scene and intend to keep going.
