The time has come for Celestia to have a one-to-one lesson with her personal protege, Twilight Sparkle. She is, no doubt, a bright young unicorn and it doesn't take her long to understand the overall concept of the teleportation and transfiguration spell. That is not to say the lesson went perfectly well as Twilight's magic takes a haywire spin and does things unimaginable coming from a foal.

The Applejack Award was one of the most contested categories we had for judging. Ultimately, Nihtmer Niht ended up winning out in the end for being very true to the show. The theme showed strongly throughout the story, and we loved the Aesop at the end, which really made this story win. Hard work paid off in the end, didn’t it, Apple Bottoms?

Nurse Redheart has begun to question the importance of her day to day life. Is bandaging boo-boos and settling tummies really as imperative as everypony makes it out to be, or has her life become a continuous cycle of monotony?

Perhaps helping out a distressed colt will show her how meaningful the smallest acts of kindness can be.

In Big Mac's dreams, he can fly: not with butterfly wings or those provided by magical means, but with huge, majestic, powerful pinions that match his body in strength and size. In his dreams, too, he has the courage to approach Fluttershy and ask if she'll spend time with him. One dozing daydream takes him on a wild adventure involving both secret wishes, and waking finds one has come true!

When Twilight opens up her castle to ponies in town with friendship problems, Diamond Tiara comes looking for help with difficult problem—getting a pony she's bullied to forgive her.
So, Twilight sends Starlight Glimmer to help her. Will Starlight and Diamond Tiara be able to sort this problem out, and will Starlight be able to apply what she’s learned from this friendship mission to the few ponies who still hate her?

There's a fly in the ointment, however. One family member in particular makes a habit of keeping an eye on Dash, and he's more than a match for Rainbow's headstrong behaviour...
