(This is a bit of an experiment based on the worldbuilding concepts presented in AnonAuthor's Xenophilia [[NSFW] - caveat lector!], which intrigued me enough to want to take a closer look. It's likely you'll be very confused by this unless you read at least some of Xenophilia. Updates will appear as and when an idea pops into my head for a thing to add. And fair warning, some of this might come across very dry and dusty. Thank you academia! After her duel with Twilight, Trixie set out on her own to try and restart her life. For the first week, things were looking up for her, she was putting on free performances in Manehatten's park, collecting tips, and never lifted a hoof against hecklers. For once in her life, Trixie believed that her life could get better. By the second week however, Trixie was plagued by severe nightmares of her past actions in Ponyville as well as painful memories from her past. Eventually, the nightmares get so bad that she is at her breaking point and in desperate need of help. Trixie decides to return back to Ponyville to seek help from the one pony who doesn't resent her, Twilight Sparkle. There, Trixie will find a new way to restart her life and both mares will discover hidden feelings for each other.

My first attempt at a Twixie fic as well as my first fic in general that was written on my iPad. Any helpful/ constructive criticism would be much appreciated.

Naturally, most would think that having a destiny of good luck would be something wonderful. Who wouldn't love winning every competition? Who wouldn't love never having to worry about finding a job? Who wouldn't love to have everything handed to them without having to work at it?

One pony would beg to differ with this sentiment. Lucky Clover is a colt that has lived such a life, a life that has become more of a curse than a blessing. What once seemed to be great has turned into a nightmare, for being lucky all of the time does not necessarily mean life will be a simple trot in the park. On the contrary, it can present challenges that most would never face.

[A/N] I think I might have seen a story like this before, centered on a pony with perpetual luck, but I've decided to roll with this idea and give a story (with some background) to one of the most under-represented background ponies in this fandom.

Story Slightly Inspired by: Every Thorn Has its Rose

Everyone in Ponyville is well aware of a certain purple earth pony's "interest" in drinking the night, day, or really any time away that she can. Thinking her antics have gone on for too long, her friend decides to give her a push into sobriety.

Can the town drunk sober up? ...Maybe?
