Hiya! I'm Screwball. I came into existence a bit ago, and I'm still learning the ropes of reality and stuff. And apparently, I can tug those ropes? But other ponies say I shouldn't be able to. And also that I shouldn't, 'cause it's bad. I dunno about all that, though. Apparently, some guy named Discord was super mean with his reality-bending. Also, he might be my accidental dad? Gosh, everything is really confusing.

I've had the itch to write Screwball for a while now, and it would feel out-of-place to put it in my ongoing fic, so here it is! Writing this whenever I can between coding assignments. Expect copious amounts of Cuteball (is that a thing? it's a thing now). Also, expect tags to slowly be added since I don't wanna give everything away with the tags from day one.

When an ancient Equestrian artifact suddenly tears a hole in time and space, Sunny Starscout gets the chance to meet her idol, Twilight Sparkle, for real! However, not only is Twilight shocked by the changes to the Equestria she loves, but Opaline's ever-present eyes see this as an opportunity to undo her defeat at Twilight's hooves. Twilight and Sunny must find a way to stop the mad alicorn if Equestria is to remain stable.

This story is a sequel to A New World, a New Way

It has been months since the Pokemon came to Equss, and so far both species have slowly learned to coexist and accept each other. Humans are virtually extinct with the unworthy ones still stuck on Earth, and the chosen turned into Pokemon against their will.

Arceus has slowly begun to regain his power and assert his authority over his Pokemon children, all the while making it clear that humanity as a species is done and that no former humans will be reverted back to their original forms.

However, when a mysterious incident occurs in the area north of the Crystal Empire, so begins a series of events that not only starts to unravel long forgotten secrets of the world, but a conflict that will determine both the future and "history" of the planet itself.

This is a NON-CANON story set in the "A New World, A New Way" universe as well as a crossover with Fate Grand Order: Cosmos in the Lostbelt. It is set after the events of both series First Arc and acts as an alternate sequel. Reading the main story is highly recommended to understand some of the characters and settings.

Equestria has heroes that take care of obvious evils and villains, but what will happen when the evil is subtle and almost invisible. Somepony has to stand up for the defenseless ponies suffering from unfair treatment, blackmail, and worse crimes. Apple Bloom normally wouldn't think a single thought about that kind of evil, until she's given a chance to correct it. Where they could be given the life that were stolen from them and thrive in a land no unlike their own? This is the tale written by the failures of the lostbelts kings and their subjects. Though the world of the proper human history may not hear their story, the world of the Friendship and Magic will hear their story. For this is the tale of the Lostbelt Kingdoms.
