1300 years. That is how long Princess Celestia has ruled her kingdom without a break. But it was not meant to stay that way because Luna and Twilight managed to find the millennia old record and revealed a horrible secret. Princess Celestia has nearly 100 years of unused vacation, and as a good student and sister they have no other choice than to force Celestia to take that time of. It wouldn’t have been so bad if a magic portal didn’t appear right when her holidays were about to start to whisk her away into a unknown world.

When the guards find a foal crying in the city streets, they bring him to Celestia's attention. Soon after, It becomes apparent he has fallen through every crack in Equestria's society. Feeling she has failed the colt, Celestia takes him into her own home.

Nothing is able to bring her happiness anymore. Not Luna, not Discord, not even the upcoming Summer Sun Celebration. But there is a certain somepony named Twilight Sparkle, who just might be able to save her former instructor from drowning in her own sorrow. The real question is, will she be able to break through to her in time?

It seems like an eternity since I last updated this story. And now that it is summer, I have no excuse. I plan n finishing this story by the time summer is over. No 100% guarantees here, just something to go off of if anyone is still keeping track of this story.
