One day, though, her life changes forever, when she and her best friends find out what she truly is.

It started out as an ordinary day for Fluttershy – waking up in her house in Cloudsdale and going to work managing the weather for Ponyville alongside her best friend Cloud Kicker. However, she finds herself troubled by feelings she can't explain, feelings that something serious is wrong. When she starts having visions of a strange life with strange ponies, she's determined to find them and find out what's going on. But how can such a timid pony convince others of what she isn't sure of herself?

Being a caregiver and friend to the animals is what makes Fluttershy get up in the morning. She loves her job feeding them, talking with them, and making life-long memories. But not all animals live as long as ponies.

***INFORMATION*** Originally, this was a one-shot portraying changelings as the good guys. The one-shot is the Prologue, in case anyone wants to know what I had originally written. Because of this, the Prologue may have unintended spoilers to the rest of the story. The actual multi-part story will start with Chapter 1. Tags may be changed as necessary.

This story is a sequel to Dragonshyness

Four years ago, Fluttershy reached out hoping to make a friend, and instead was abused by a stranger. In response, she withdrew into herself, shutting out the rest of the world. Now she has some friends, but she still fears most strangers, because she never understood what happened to her when she was a teenager. She wishes she could be less afraid of other Ponies, but how can she when she knows that she was rejected for her own lack of merit?

Maybe she'll kill herself. That would be terrible.

Or maybe, with a little help from Rarity, something entirely different will happen.

This takes place around the 1st of October, YOH 1500 and is canon to the Shadow Wars, being part of the Flutterarc. It may also be considered an unofficial sequel to Bad Horse's excellent (and horribly logical) Fluttershy's Night Out, which in this timeline may be assumed to have taken place in YOH 1496. Fluttershy was 16 then, and is 20 now.

In connection to the main TV series, this would be taking place between the start and the end of "Fall Weather Friends" (which is one of the reasons why Rarity is the friend in whom Fluttershy chooses to confide, as Rainbow Dash is in training). It would take place before "Call of the Cutie," which in turn takes place before Fluttershy Is Free.

(Yes, I flipped the order of "Fall Weather Friends" and "Winter Wrap-Up" -- if I didn't, I'd have to assume that the first three seasons covered 5, instead of 4 years).

Now this is a Fluttershy adventure story, she meets a strange pony. This she falls wings over hooves for this colt, and things will happen. No this is not a clopfic it may become a shipper later on but I`m no good at that kind of thing. I hope you like it

When Rainbow Dash asks Fluttershy to attend the Hearts and Hooves Day Galloping Gala special opening night, Fluttershy reluctantly agrees to go. Meanwhile, the new pegasus-stallion Matrixwing -who had never before been to Ponyville- tries to find a place to live there. The two pegasi's fates intertwine as they try to find out more about each other, and eventually fall in love... Unfortunately, an evil force rises from the ashes of their former enemies... An evil so great, that it starts to change unoticing ponies one by one... Eventually, Matrixwing begins to trust the ponies of Ponyville, and tells Fluttershy of his 'seeing' blindness -'Clairvoyance' he calls it-, the 'mood lightning' (also known as the Visus Colorem Condition) in his eyes, and his gift of lightning speed. Is he capable of protecting the only mare he could ever love from one of the deadliest forces of evil? Can he find the ancient and sacred Element of Harmony required to defeat them? Rated Teen for violence, mainly concerning traditional giant monster violence.

It is Hearth Warming Eve time and a tragic, sewer dwelling, Pegasus born with bat wings and a set of sharp teeth named Fluttershy Cobblewing AKA The Pegabat is planning to return to normal society after a lifetime living in the fringes of society which included a time being a sideshow freak at the circus and as a prisoner in a lab owned by the ghoulish and sadistic Crystal Emperor Sombra. Fueled by her cruel and horrific backstory she desperately longs to be accepted into society as a fellow pony not as a freakish monster at all costs. In order to achieve this she teams up with corrupt businesscolt Filthy Rich who wants to rule the city with The Pegabat as his puppet mayor by unleashing a horrific crime wave on citizens of Ponyville. But Ponyville's superhero Mare Do Well AKA Princess Twilight Sparkle is the only one who can stop The Pegabat and Filthy Rich's scheme. Based on Tim Burton's Batman Returns and Elfen Lied.
