The image of the black-coated, red-maned alicorn is an old and powerful one, synonymous with treachery, narcissism, and being kind of a ponce overall.

On Nightmare Night it is said that, during Discord's reign, Equestria was nearly saved by such an alicorn, wielding amazing powers, only for said alicorn to demonstrate a really big superiority complex and basically lord it over everypony else. After a year or so of constant petty annoyances, this alicorn was overthrown (to great applause) by a group of commoners led by what turned out to be Discord wearing a skirt. (This sort of thing was actually fairly standard for the time period, but for whatever reason, this particular event wedged itself firmly into pony folklore and wouldn't leave.)

Certain books in the dustier sections of the Canterlot archives, if perused for information on said alicorn, would mention several unconfirmed sightings of this alicorn throughout history. Every one of these sightings, however, allegedly ended similarly to the original event in the Age of Chaos, insofar that the alicorn in question apparently was incredibly annoying and eventually disappeared without a trace.

Ebony Redwood, the Ponyville mare living in the house with the bluish shingles, has heard the legends many times, and doesn't much care for them. Most ponies assume she's simply tired of all the unfair prejudice leveled against her just because her colors make her look kind of like a B-list superstition, and they'd be right.

Four thousand years is enough time to get tired of hearing things you like, after all.

Due to an freak electrical storm one video game character known as Wreck-It Ralph gets sent flying out of the Arcade power grid by way of a runaway game tram. Eventually ending up in a computer program area where all the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic shows are stored on the internet, the now lost and most defiantly out of place 'bad guy' is stuck in the land of Equestria since unlike the Arcade world. TV Characters don't leave their areas as copies are made of them and their world and sent off instead to users, and worse still none of them even known of this fact and think their worlds are real.

Now Ralph will have to find a way back home before Litwak's Arcade opens after repairs from the storm is over and Litwak finds out he is missing again and the game gets unplugged. At the same time he must prove himself to the ponies he is not a bad guy even though his job is to be a 'bad guy', and maybe along the way he will make new friends and the ponies will learn that sometimes 'bad guys' are not as two dimensional as they seem.

Hi there, name's NC and I'm a Brony (duh)

Like everyone else, my biggest wish is to be in Equestria, and due to a magical Genie lamp, I'm finally there!

However, it turns out the Genie is the master of trolls as he says I never wished for how I wanted to look like when I arrive there and now I'm a one month old unicorn foal with brown coat, light brown mane and tail, blood red eyes and unable to talk!

My life is over.

You know, sometimes I wonder how I get myself into these things. Maybe it's because I did something. Pissed some god off... maybe. Now I'm falling into some show for children- literally. Knowing myself, I'm probably not going to have much luck at all...

Ever since she was a little filly, Lyra has had dreams of two-legged creatures with technology far beyond ponykind's own. She knows they exist, and she's determined to find any and all information about them.

Blake Johnson has spent the last several days running for his life. He has seen and done things that he wishes he could completely remove from his memory. He'll do anything to survive. But will his past drive him to the point of insanity, and will there be anyone there for him if he does?

After Scootaloo finds out she likes fillies instead of colts she thinks she is a freak. Everyone is out to prove her otherwise though...

For Hunter Cunningham, life was simple and filled with as many surprises as an empty box. He played video games in his small but comfortable apartment, paid for by the wealth his parents gave him, read books, chatted with friends on Facebook or Steam, but not much else. He never felt the urge to go do things everyone told him were "exciting" and "fun". Books and games were all he needed, thank you. Everything was controlled and predictable, and that was how he liked it.

As you might imagine, waking up one morning as a dragon in Equestria was a bit outside his comfort zone.

Emerald Sky is a young, homeless filly living in a shabby alleyway in Manehatten, her home being made of nothing but cardboard. Her life came to this after a number of tragic events. And yet she keeps smiling even through tough times.

This story is a sequel to Changeling

Aura and Trixie have been living in Ponyville for a few months now, with the ocassional travelling across Equestria to perform Trixie's shows, and life has been pretty peaceful for them.

In the Changeling Kingdom, however, tensions continue to rise as the hunt for RE brings the loyalty of all changeling soldiers into question, and the griffon Emperor Nero takes advantage of this vulnerable time in Queen Chrysalis' reign to erradicate the enemy race once and for all.

With Aura called back to the Changeling Kingdom, Trixie goes along with her to protect the youngling who she has come to know as a good friend over the past few months.

On the other side, Rainbow Dash wants to do whatever she can to help her childhood friend turned soldier Gilda in her time of need. Even if it means fighting against somepony who may or may not be her friend.
