Daring Do's latest adventure finds her searching for Kamara Mista, an ancient city in the clouds once ruled by the griffins, said to contain riches beyond imagining. But that's not all Daring is after. According to a mysterious letter, by finding the city, she may finally be reunited with her long lost father. Will Daring find Kamara Mista? Will she find its treasures? Will she be reunited with her father? Read to find out! :)

A.K. Yearling, known as Daring-Do in the world of explorers and adventurers, and her friend Leaf Wind are assigned a task by Princess Luna to travel to Saddle Arabia and search for an ancient and presumed destroyed library. What they discover beneath the shifting and sweltering sands may very well redefine the history of Equestria, it might even possibly define its future. One thing's for sure, though, Leaf and Daring's relationship will never be the same.

Takes place around the same time as Witching Hour's story "Steady as She Flies" as well as the end of Calm Wind's story "Flying Sky High"

This is the first of a three part series.

Every chapter is its own story, child friendly, in the style of the show. All arcing together to form one massive adventure. Not so much chapters, as multiple short stories tying into one massive saga.

These are all based in the 'Almanac Daring Do Universe', my own Daring Do universe that follows the series extremely closely, but allows me a little leeway with creative content without constantly relying on ever expanding canon causing difficulties. ^-^

Each book is short as they are made for kids primarily, but I hope many bronies enjoy them as well.

I have an official editor that aids me in keeping the flow good, grammar decent and everything else a high quality, however he is having some difficulties right now and is a few books behind. So please don't be too harsh on some slight mistakes in the later books.

In the capital of Prance, Daring Do is breaking the law to go underground to find thirty missing paintings that six soldiers took into the catacombs, only to be never seen again. She gets a guide and a Paris resident named Crawl Space to help her navigate through the city's dark underbelly to hopefully find out what happened to those soldiers long ago.
What Daring didn't expect, was that she discovered something that could challenge everything they knew about all of Earth's early history. Something that might predate the royal sisters.

When an old ruin is unearthed under Ponyville, it will take the boldest and most adventurous of ponies to dare sound its depths. Daring Do knows she's such a pony.

So what if she's eight and a half, and Dad says she can't go? That's a big age to reach, and he doesn't have to find out. So what if millennia-old dangers and secrets lurk in the darkness? That's the point of adventures.

She's got a saddlebag full of useful tools, countless stories telling her what ought to happen, and her Mom's old helmet. You don't need much more for your first adventure than that.

Starlight Glimmer's defeat at the hooves of the Elements of Harmony did nothing to crush her dreams of a harmonious, mark-less society, but it taught her a lot about the power of the forces that opposed her. If she was going to have a chance of showing Equestria the true path to harmony, she had to find a way to amass enough power to go hoof-to-hoof with Princess Twilight and her cronies.

This search for power leads Starlight to the Staff of Comet Tail, a weapon wielded by one of the most powerful unicorns in Equestrian history. With such a weapon by her side, nopony could challenge her authority, and she could bring enlightenment and happiness to the ponies of Equestria without opposition.

Starlight immediately embarks on a quest to find Comet Tail's staff, but she fails to take into account who might find her along the way...

Rainbow Dash had never been more excited in her life! She was featured in a Daring Do book! She couldn't believe it. All her dreams had come true! She instantly showed Twilight and the rest of her friends. But discoveries are made, and questions are asked. There has never been a more important quest in her life. And she just hoped that she could find answers.
In Daring Do's cottage, the same discovery was being found. But with all the same questions, but nothing to start with, would she be able to find the answers she needed too?

After her most recent expedition having ended up in a failure once more, Daring Do is having a difficult time to process it all in her mind. She even thinks about giving up. Her luck seems to return to her once more, when her ears picked up the right conversation between two shady characters.

What happened next was a tale of mystery and suspense in order to find the mythical Sun-piece. A tale that ended up with revelations that would shake the land and endanger her life on more then one occasion.

All done while an ancient force haunts and hunts on the explorer.
