This is the first of a three part series.
Every chapter is its own story, child friendly, in the style of the show. All arcing together to form one massive adventure. Not so much chapters, as multiple short stories tying into one massive saga.
These are all based in the 'Almanac Daring Do Universe', my own Daring Do universe that follows the series extremely closely, but allows me a little leeway with creative content without constantly relying on ever expanding canon causing difficulties. ^-^
Each book is short as they are made for kids primarily, but I hope many bronies enjoy them as well.

I have an official editor that aids me in keeping the flow good, grammar decent and everything else a high quality, however he is having some difficulties right now and is a few books behind. So please don't be too harsh on some slight mistakes in the later books.
They will be corrected in time. :)

Soooooo, are there like other series' coming out or are you just going to expand this one?
First of all, the good stuff. I truly admire you doing this, and you are a fantastic writer.
However, there are a few things that irritate me a bit, particularly about this one. First of all, your pace is extremely fast: a bit too fast, in fact. The reader falls behind very easily.
Secondly, about this one in particular, when Daring kicked the griffon over the cliff. Can't griffons fly? And I also disapproved of you having Daring kill the griffon, both in the act itself and how she did it: basically murdering the griffon and appearing to take pleasure from it.
Nonetheless, I will continue to read this series. You show great promise.
5097810 daring didnt kill the griffon. the griffon will return...maybe..who knows. ;). also, based on the first book that was written alongside the actual show, I found that the books would in fact simply be short. which works as they are meant to be books for children. the books, will grow longer as time goes by and if kids read them, by the time they get to later books, the plot will be able to keep its pace much more easily.

4669898 series 2 is in cue and will be done after I have finished my latest commission. series 3 will come after that. and I will also be doing a series of bestiary books, guard handbooks and other stuff that take my fancy. ^^

5135191 in explanation...for a bestiary we're talking the equestrian equivalent to a short but concise encyclopaedia on that particular species covering their culture, anatomy, and society. :)

Did you make these before or after the Daring Do Collector (super awesome head canon ) set of books came out?
7298856 before. I was in my third book by then and already had a hardback of the first book out and being sold before there was even a hint from hasbro about releasing an actual daring do collection.
