Second season of the adventures of Dusk Shine, with more characters, more villains, more drama and more romance

Idol Hooves holds a special place in Equestria. He's probably the only exiled changeling to serve in the Royal Guard, or at least, that's what he expects, as exiles don't really broadcast that fact. However, it's well known that Princess Celestia loves all of her little ponies, and her guards perhaps more so, and that makes it one of the best ways for a changeling to discreetly feed.

But how does a changeling even get there, let alone get exiled in the first place? For that matter, why would it ever go to Canterlot? Set a number of years before the series proper, before Luna’s redemption, Idol details how he was exiled, the ponies he’s met, and the series of misadventures that led him to joining the Royal Guard, and should continue a good ways into the series, as something of an alternate perspective.

Soon, he’ll have to deal with a boisterous new princess to serve and a royal wedding in the works bringing a third to power. Will his old instincts bring this new life crashing down around him? What precipitates Chrysalis’s ill-fated assault on Canterlot? Is it really so wrong for a changeling to enjoy good craftsmanship to an obsessive degree?

There are not many things that Rainbow Dash can't withstand. She can take on dragons and monsters all day long, but when it comes to the bitter cold she has met her match. In search of shelter from the cold, she ends up spending the night at the Apple's. But with Granny and Bloom in Appleosssa, and Applejack going to Manehatten in attempt to sell some apple goods, she ends up all alone with Big Mac.

What could possibly go wrong?

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony: Friendship is Shining

Shining Armor is sent two tickets by Princess Celestia to The Grand Galloping Gala. Now he just needs to decide who he should take with him. The problem is that all five of his friends want to go. How will the stallion decide, and what will the mares do to try and persuade him.

(A story set in what I guess I'll call The Shiny-verse).

The season one finale of the Friendship is Shining series. The day of the Grand Galloping Gala has arrived at last. Shining Armor and his friends are all very excited to be going. Unfortunately things end up not going the way any of them expected. How bad are things going to get, and how much of Canterlot is going to remain when all is said and done?

Meanwhile, back in Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle is sleeping over at the Cakes. How much trouble could two unicorn fillies and a pegasus colt cause at a bakery?

Twilight Sparkle begins school in Ponyville. After things don't go as well as expected, she decides there is only one thing to do: get her cutie mark. Maybe she can get some other ponies to help her. After all, some things are more fun with friends, right?

After reading a story to his little sister, Princess Celestia's student Shining Armor believes that the legendary Mare in The Moon is about to return. After disregarding his warning, the princess sends her student to a small town called Ponyville to look over preparations for The Summer Sun Celebration. There, he, his sister Twilight Sparkle, and young dragon companion Spike, meet some strange mares and odd fillies. How will he survive a town full of crazy ponies? And what will he do when it turns out he was right?

The story is inspired by the Twiley chapter of Crisis of Infinite Twilights written by Defender2222.

While going heading into town to help Twiley get ready for her first day of school, but for some reason, Ponyville seems strangely empty. After discovering everypony is hiding from a mysterious visitor from The Everfree Forest, Shining Armor tries to get to the truth... or he would if certain fillies had not run off to get into who knows what.

When trouble comes to town, will the mare live up to her claims, will somepony else have to step up and save the day, or is the small town doomed to destruction?
